Disclaimer: I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh! How I wish I they're mine...
A/N: I was tired of listening to my professor on her endless discussions about the handbook. So, while she was blabbering about all the rules and regulations, I can't help but think about this story. Hehe… I hope you will enjoy this one. This maybe blunt, forgive me, but I made this to release my boredom at the moment.
Title: Sinful God
Three thousand years ago, there lived a great king in Egypt. His greatness was known not only by his people but also the neighboring nations. He was remembered by all men because of his great sacrifice to defeat the darkness in order to save his people and the world.
This great Pharaoh was remembered by the people of today because of the artifacts found, books written by historians and other methods to uncover the mystery behind his excellence.
There is something, however, that even the historians weren't able to uncover. He was indeed a great Pharaoh, but not only because he saved his nation from extinction; this great Pharaoh, has defied not only the laws that were created in his country but as well as the laws of the gods—he himself.
The great Pharaoh has deeply fallen in love with his High Priest. To an ordinary person, that would be cleared out easily, but in his case, its not. For all eyes were set upon him, from his coronation ceremony until his death, all eyes were watching him.
But the great Pharaoh didn't even bother about what other people or even his nation had said. He continued to love his High Priest and never stopped until the he confessed his feelings.
The High Priest, though he knew perfectly well what was going to happen after the Pharaoh's confession, accepted and returned the feelings.
And of course, the god-like persona of the great Pharaoh diminished as he engaged in the most sinful act men could even think of.
Maybe the great Pharaoh knew that fate will be very cruel to him and it was.
Fate, however, made up its mind to repay the sacrifice the great Pharaoh has done.
For a boy named Yugi Mutou released him from his 'almost' eternal slumber for him to meet his High Priest once again.
And he had met the man, and once again, he defied the laws of humanity and of course, of the gods.
But then, now, it's for eternity. For there will be no sealing of darkness inside his millennium puzzle nor any trouble that would cost his life.
And with that, the world has saved him this time.
