I have never written a fanfiction before. My friend was sitting next to me while we were watching the news about the election. She is VERY obsessed with twilight and fanfictions. SHOUT OUT to my girl cullensensability. She said that someone should write a fanfiction with the election and Twilight involved so I made fun of her by telling her this and just decided to post it online. So here it goes…

WARNING: SUPER DUPER DUMB

Bella POV

Edward and I were sitting on the couch with the rest of our family. We were watching the 2008 U.S election unfold. Emmett was being stupid by walking around like a chicken and squawking,

"BARRAAAAAAAAAAACK OBAMA, BARAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK OBAMA!"

I could tell Edward was seriously considering throwing him through a wall while Renesmee was laughing her angelic little head off. Then my attention snapped back to the screen of the television while I shushed everyone.

"Everyone be quiet, the guy is back on."

It did not escape me that Alice was snickering in the corner. Edward just sat looking at her agitatedly; I guessed she was hiding something from him. Meanwhile on the television…

"The results are in and America has decided on its new president." said the reporter.

I was shaking in my seat while Jasper tried to calm me as Edward contained me in his arms.

"Here it is, our new president…"

Then the whole family sat in shock as a very sexy picture of Edward covered the screen.

"…Edward Cullen!"

Of course the shock only lasted about a millisecond and then all hell broke loose. Alice took a picture, Emmett broke out in extreme laughter, Rosalie actually looked up from her nails, Esme grinned, Carlisle was calm as usual, Jasper gagged on god knows what, Jacob looked extremely jealous, and I looked like a deer stuck in head lights.

Renesmee beamed while saying, "I knew daddy could do it!"

At the exact time she said this, Edward shouted, " What. The. FUCK!"

Then as reality set in we all screamed ,

"EMMETT!!"

As Edward lunged for him, Emmett said ,

"Next time you interrupt Rosie and me while we fulfill our carnal needs, remember my ultimate wrath."

I knew we shouldn't have sent him to tech school.
