The roaring waterfall filled the air as they sat by its edge. The hero of the Atlamillia sat closest to the water's edge, a fishing rod in his hand. He looked at the water as the bait bobbed lazily upon the surface, never deviating from this pattern.
He gave an annoyed huff, his companion sitting to his left, watching the line with curiosity. She laid upon the floor in a curious stance, almost as though ready to pounce. Her tail wagged idly, her auburn hair shifting from her ear's twitching movements.
They stayed like that for a while, Toan occasionally moving the rod here and there, before returning to where he was before. Sometimes his feet would tap impatiently upon the ground, other times he would cross his arms around the fishing rod.
Xiao however made no motion to move, her body still locked into the strange, pounce like state.
Finally, the bait sank under the water, causing Toan to yelp in surprise and glee. Grabbing onto the fishing rod firmly, he began to reel it In. The fish however had other plans, tugging hard with all of its might to escape the strange contraption that had captured him.
Water splashed, the fish occasionally surfaced, before Toan finally won out, pulling the fish out of the water. It flailed weakly outside its element, looking upon the hero who caught it. Toan gave a smile at the strange fish. The Legendary Mardan Garyan sat upon his hook, quite a large one at that.
However this was cut short by the sudden pounce from the catgirl, whose weight caused her, the fish, and the fishing rod to fall into the waterfall's lake. Toan watched in shock, the legendary fish escaping his grasp.
Xiao surfaced seconds later, the fish flailing in her hands, She deftly pulled out the fishing hook, about to take a big bite of the fish before Toan cleared his throat.
She stopped, giving her Master a confused look. Realization slowly sunk in however, causing her to blush and giggle nervously. She held out the fish to Toan, an apologetic smile making its way across her face.
He gave a annoyed look for a while, before it eventually faltered to a laugh and a head shake. He plucked the fish from her hands, placing it in a net. He retrieved his fishing rod from the water's edge, before gesturing for Xiao that they should go.
She slunk out of the water, her sundress clinging to her tightly as she mewled.
"Couldn't even wait until we cooked it?" He jokingly asked. Xiao responded with a stuck out tongue, but giggled nonetheless.
Huh. I ain't dead. Yeah been working on Legacy and characters. Fun fact: Yellow in legacy has at least 3 60k word stories written about him. Ranging from world, to lore, to history, to everything else… Yeah I should probably work on the actual Legacy part of Legacy soon…..
