Another Story
The Burtonburgers were on a family road trip, along with Dennis, since he had always wanted to go to New York. Suddenly, when Millie and Coop were debating where they should go next, the car broke down. Coincidentally, right in front of the Russo's sub shop. "Hello, may I take your order?" Theresa asked, as soon as they walked in. "Actually, we just need to know where the best place to get gas is" Burt said. "There's a service station around here, but you need to call ahead of time" Theresa explained. "I'll call them for you, I have their number memorized" she added. Theresa left the room, just as Jerry, Alex, Justin and Max came clomping down the stairs. "I'm telling you, dad, I've got a wizard cold!" Alex exclaimed. "A WHAT COLD?" Dennis shouted. The Russos hadn't noticed the Burtonburgers. They turned, and tried to explain. "Um... it's our name for a very serious cold" Alex said. "Yes!" Justin said, much to quickly. "It's okay. You can tell us if you're wizards, it's not the strangest thing I've seen!" Coop said, eyeing Kat, whom was in her cat carrier. "Kat's an alien!" he shouted. "See, guys! I told you that alien cats were real! The invasion's coming!" Max screamed at the top of his lungs. Coop rolled his eyes. "As long as I'm here, you don't gotta worry about an invasion! I beat up this flea-bitten, furless, furball every day!" he said. Max let out a sigh of relief. Theresa came back in. "Bad news. They can't fit you guys in until Saturday!" Ignoring his customers panic, Jerry said, "Now Alex, if you had a wizard cold, then you'd be sneezing visions of the future through your nose!" Alex quickly sneezed, and everyone saw a hologram like Kat. It said, in a female voice, "Coop, I... I love you. I always have, and I always will!" Coop freaked, and ran. Kat managed to get out of her carrier, and followed Coop upstairs. Everyone followed Kat. When they got upstairs, they saw Coop leaning against the wall, holding a kitchen knife as a weapon. "Stay back!" he shouted to Kat, and she rolled her eyes. She walked towards Coop. She then leaped up onto Coop's shirt, grabbed his collar, and pulled him into a kiss. Everyone stared in astonishment. Kat released Coop's lips, and smiled seductively. She then meowed, half romantically, half happily. She leaped down, and looked at Coop's face. "I... uh... what... um" Coop stammered. Kat looked... hurt. And since Kat was an alien, Coop felt her hurt, as well. He knelt down, and started to stroke her back. Kat purred as Coop said, "I guess... I could give you a chance" he said it slowly, for reasons that even he couldn't understand. Kat grinned. She skipped back down to the sub shop, and out the sub shop door. Everyone followed her. When they had caught up to her, they found Kat, fixing the Burtonburger family car with her sharp claws. "Well, I guess we can hit the road again!" Burt said. They left, with Kat on Coop's lap, this time, instead of her carrier.
