Hidden Talisman
Disclaimer: I do not own any of the canon characters; they belong originally to Kody Keplinger and in the movie version to CBS Films. Based on the drabble prompt: "You can't banish me! This is my bed, too!"
Word Count: 200
Wesley Rush seriously wants to know where he went wrong in this scenario. It had all been a harmless joke, carrying on a tradition older than the young man himself. As he tries to climb into bed beside his wife, Bianca roughly pushes his arm away.
"Come on, B!" Wesley says in a dejected tone. "Are you seriously not going to-?"
"Yes. I'm serious," Bianca reveals to her husband of three months in a no-nonsense tone. "Couch for you, Rush," the journalist mumbles as her head slumps onto her pillow. "You have been banished," she adds in the monster voice Wesley invented when they were just kids.
"You can't banish me! This is my bed, too!" Wesley argues back in his version of the monster voice. "What did I do to deserve banishment, Bianca?" the once quarterback asks as he kneels beside the bed to try and meet Bianca's gaze.
"You pinched me, Wesley!"
"It's Saint Patrick's Day, Bianca! You didn't wear green, so I pinched ya!"
"And how do you know I'm not wearing green underwear?" Bianca grins as their eyes meet.
"Guess there's only one way to find out," Wesley murmurs before capturing Bianca's lips with his.
Author's Note: And here's my first D.U.F.F. story! I must admit, I've never read the book, but the movie came on TV again a few weeks ago and I had to re-watch it! Wes and Bianca are so cute together, and every time I watch it I get all happy inside! Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed this drabble; if I choose to write more D.U.F.F. stories, I promise that they will be much longer; I just wrote this short piece as part of the drabble challenge for March. As always, reviews are greatly appreciated. Until next time, my dear readers! Have an amazing day, afternoon, or night! I do take prompts, but only if they are T or under and if I approve of the prompt. I've been getting a lot of uncomfortable prompts lately, mostly from my male readers, and it has led me to block a number of writers due to their lewd prompts. Please remember, at the end of the day, we're all here to be respectful to one another and not give out requests or insist writers publish stories about subjects that make them uncomfortable. I am reasonable and have written almost every request asked of me with the exception of a few I am saving for later and ones my friends gave me.
