The way she softened up when they were together,
The way her cheeks flushed when his fingers intertwined with hers.
He didn't notice when her eyes shimmered with pain when they argued,
When she hesitated before storming out the door,
When she counted up to ten as slowly as she could,
When her voice cracked at the final number.
He didn't notice that she was so close to walking right back into the room,
That she was on the verge of tears,
That she was truly hurting more than he was.
And when he didn't turn that door handle and go after her, he didn't notice how much she loved him.

Oh by the way, I always write all my fanfics on an app on my phone which of course decided to randomly delete all my work. I had a fanfic that was almost completed and now it's completely gone! So that's why I haven't put up any new fanfics in a while! Sorry guys!
