1Another Friday, another new episode of the Secret Saturdays. Jennifer's favorite TV show. She was always a huge fan when it first came out. Just about everyday, she'd think about what it would be like to meet Zak Saturday, her favorite character, of course. Jennifer drew him a lot, and being a great artist, kept drawing. Pictures floated around here and there, all of Zak in different poses and styles. One even had an older version of him in futuristic battle armor.
Being kind of embarrassed, she never told her friends about being a fangirl. She thought they would think it would be too babyish and cheesy. Most people would rather watch Avatar, or Chowder, some much more popular shows. But, they knew she was obviously a fan. Her friends didn't know she was a big fan. So, she was a secret Secret Saturdays fan.
Jennifer's younger brother, Hale, was more of a Pokemon fan. He still thinks that the Secret Saturdays are cool, but he likes Pokemon better. Right now he has almost every Pokemon game out there. What is exciting is that summer is right around the corner! (New Secret Saturdays episodes kehehe...) More awkward dreams for Jennifer. What I mean is that she has been having a lot of dreams all in a row lately, most about Zak Saturday. One night, she was him in a dream. Freaky.
The last days of school crept past and plans for vacations were made. Jennifer felt almost sad about leaving school and her friends. But it was a dumb thought and she got over it. What she didn't get over was a feeling that all her dreams led up to something big.
Summer came too quickly. Hale hopped onto his computer to play his favorite online games after school. Their parents decided to go out to dinner that night. Jennifer wore normal baggy jeans and her favorite short sleeve hoodie. It was a dark yellow color with multi colored flowers with stems all over the front. Of course, it had a zipper and a light green t-shirt underneath. She quickly brushed her almost-purple-but-brown medium length hair. Hale wore jean shorts and a simple red and white striped polo shirt. And why would Hale go to a restaurant without his DS?
They all got into the car and Jennifer's mom put in the key. Hale turned on his DS and started playing a Pokemon game. All Jennifer liked to do in the car was talk, stare out the window, or sleep. This time she chose staring out the window. The weather didn't seem too nice. Dark grey clouds floated through the sky. The weather man didn't predict this... Then, right before her eyes, a flash of lightning blinded everyone for only milliseconds. The clouds seemed to thicken. Loud thunder rolled through everyone's eardrums. "What a nice day to eat out." mumbled Jennifer.
She watched the clouds drift through the disturbed sky. Then, something that would blow your mind happened the next moment.
