Summary: A mysterious woman from the After, a time some fifty years after the Third World War had found ancient documents from people who came Before. Her untimely death left unfinished work to be found later by Deidara Akatsuki. Will he find the answers needed to end the post war turmoil that has been disguised as peace and will he find love in an unknowing ally?

The After Woman
In a dark ally in the darkest places of Rome, a woman works. Her back bent over ancient works form peoples before. She does not know who they were or why they had disappeared but she knew they had been advance in their knowledge, for she was the one to find these writings. She also knew she had to complete it if not whatever had taken out those from before would happen to the humans of Earth. Some had already. Now after the third and supposedly final World War the people were ruled by a small handful and it was not a pleasant one. Many cities that had been great fell into ruin and many were impoverished. Any who opposed them were quickly disposed of. The woman knew that this information would end it all and hopefully create a better state for the world. She also knew that if she stopped she could be discovered and the unfinished work destroyed and she killed. She couldn't leave anything to chance, her home had been built specially to preserve if the event of her untimely death. She worked hard that night, diligently translating the texts her weathered hands carefully turning the ancient manuscripts. She slowly is starting to Fade, her mind slowly disintegrating. He hand shook as she stubbornly stayed awake, forcing her body, bent and broken as it was to stay alert but her body refused and there she died, over her precious manuscripts but just another casualty of the After at just the tender age of twenty and eight years to be undiscovered for centuries…
