Jesus Christ, I've been obsessed with Victorious lately. DX. Gawd
Anyways. . .I just saw the episode The Worst Couple and I have to say, Trina pissed me the HELL off in that episode when she tackled Beck and stopped him from reaching Jade.
Fucking bitch.
I mean, Trina's always been kind of an annoyance, but she still provides comic relief, so. . .This is what I think SHOULD have happened. (Yes, I know they get back together, but still.)
DISCLAIMER: I don't own Victorious or the characters.
"I'm going to count to ten," Jade said softly but dangerously. "And if you're not there by ten, then I'm going home. And we're over."
Beck stood at a loss for words. Jade had been his girlfriend for two years, maybe more, which was one year and eleven months more than most "couples" lasted. Sure, they fought a lot, but. . .
Jade held his gaze for a minute, and then opened the door, walking out. Taking a deep breath, she yelled out, "One!"
"Two!"
When she called out four, Beck snapped out of his stupor and headed for the door, but was suddenly tackled to the ground. "What the – "
"Please love me!" Trina Vega shrieked, hugging him and trying in vain for her lips to reach his.
"Trina, get off!" Beck yelled, struggling, but the desperate teenager's grip was strong, and he couldn't pry her off.
Tori ran over and tried to pull her screaming sister off of Beck, who was borderline insane. "Trina!" Eventually, Trina was subdued and Tori had pulled her away.
Beck stood up, gasping for breath, and he ran a hand through his hair, about to voice his thanks to his friends when he heard, "Eight!"
As if in a trance, he walked over to the door, but then hesitated. Did he really want Jade? It wasn't a secret that they weren't the most happy and fluffy couple of all time. Was it for the best if he let Jade go? The number nine went unheard.
Beck shook these thoughts away and placed his hand on the handle, just as Jade called out, "Ten. . ."
Both of them froze on either side of the door, not believing that Jade had gotten to ten and Beck hadn't come out.
Jade's eyes widened as she came to the realization.
He really doesn't want me.
Tears building up in her eyes for the first time in years, she was about to reach for the door, but then turned away and stomped to her car, just as rain began to fall.
The sound of Jade stalking away snapped Beck out of the shock he was in as he made up his mind. He heard himself say, "I have to go," and bolted out the door.
"Jade!" he yelled at the top of his lungs, ignoring the fact that his (fabulous) hair was getting wet. He ran after her, heart sinking as he heard the sound of a car being started up.
Beck put up a final spurt of speed and reached the car, his breath ragged as he looked in the window. "Jade," he breathed out.
The teenager's eyes landed on Beck as she didn't know what to say. "What?"
"I'm sorry," he mouthed, panting as he caught his breath. "Really, I – "
"No," Jade interrupted, cutting him off as she rolled down the window. "I'm the one who should be sorry. I – You're right, we fight too much. . .and I'm usually the cause of it. I'm sorry, okay?"
Beck sighed, but was secretly relieved since Jade rarely, if ever, said sorry and actually meant it. "It's all right, really. I'm sorry too, I shouldn't have overreacted, and um, if you'd forgive me, I'd like to. . ."
He was cut off as Jade leaned in through the window and kissed him passionately.
I guess that's a yes.
I CAN'T WRITE FLUFF.
WHICH IS SAD BECAUSE NEARLY EVERY SINGLE STORY THAT I WRITE IS FLUFF.
