Understand by Dark Werewolf
A poem/song inspired by "Harry Potter and the Dark Sigil" and "Harry Potter and the Staff of the Phoenix" both by Harry's Mum Lily. Meant to be read after reading chapter two of the latter mentioned story, but even if you haven't read those you'll still like this. In either case, go read these stories - they're great!!!!!

It's obvious
The pain locked up inside
Your laugh is achingly hollow
Your smile never reaches your eyes
I don't know how to treat you
I know you don't want to talk
I don't understand
Harry:
You don't understand
In my sleep
I've seen you die
Over and over again
Ron:
I saw the scars on your chest
For months I thought you were dead
Help me to understand
How to help you
Harry:
Everyday I struggle with the pain
I've missed out on so much of my life
If you were gone
That would kill me
Ron and Harry:
Please don't kill him
I need him
To help me
Understand
Ron:
Friend
It's obvious
I've seen the mark upon your arm
It's obvious
You're struggling
Everyday
Constant pain
Help me help you
Harry:
You see this mark upon my arm
It tries to control me
In my dreams
I've known true happiness
But then he enters my head
Filling it with dread
Visions of people crying

Look what he's done to me
If I couldn't escape him then
