"Fly with me in the rain"

It was seven at night on a cold December night with fierce winds and brutal rain. Draco Malfoy had spent a day out flying when he came back to find his girlfriend studying the same books she was when he left 4 hours ago. On her face was expression of concentration so he asked the question.

"I can't , need to memorise this by tomorrow." She lifted up her arms to show a tatty version of Hogwarts: A History.

"You know everything about everything , I'm sure you don't need to memorise that." He lifted her book out of arms reach.

"Draco stop give me that." She went for wand but he snatched her wand from the table before she could.

"At least give me one of them.", said Hermione as she chased him around the room.

"Fly with me and I'll even kiss you in the rain like those silly old muggle romance novels you read and pretend you don't cry at them.", he said as he ran away from her.

"I do not cry at them and give me my book." She tried to reach for the book and nearly tripped over the broomstick. He ran to stop her from falling and picked her up bridal style. He placed her on the sofa.

"Hermione I'm sorry."

"Don't be."

"Why not?"

"Because I've got got your wand."

He felt his back pocket. It was completely empty. That meant she had the parchment as well. No she couldn't have. She mustn't read it. He glanced at her hands. It wasn't there. Where was it? He spotted it under the chair. She saw his eyes travel to the piece of parchment and with a flick of her wand it was in her hands."Hermione no!"

She scrunched up her face. "And why can't I?" She asked.

"Because it's Blaise's. That's why and he doesn't want anyone to look at it that's why I have it,"He answered.

"For some reason Malfoy I don't believe you. Listen I won't mind if it's .. you know from someone else just tell me I'll let you go."

Crap,he thought, she used his last name and she thought he was cheating on her. It was the quite the opposite on the parchment. He loved her. The "l" word hadn't been said yet. He had been too scared to. He had made already so many mistakes regarding love but Hermione was different. She had stayed with him even after what they had all been through. I love you was yet to be said but t had been written plenty of time most of them on that paper.

"It's not that just pass it to me and I'll show it to you."

But it was too late her eyes were already scanning the paper. He loved her. He really loved her and he didn't want to lose her. She looked at him and her face was full of anger and tears. She stormed up to him. He closed his eyes waiting for the punch instead he got a sweet kiss. One that showed that she wasn't angry/

"I love you too",she breathed. She ruffled his hair and laughed.

"Why didn't you show me this before silly."

"I thought you'd be angry,"he answered.

She picked up his broomstick and started walking to the opening. She turned around to meet his confusing gaze.

"Well come on then."

"Where?"

"To fly. I'll even let you kiss me in the rain like those silly old romance novels I cry at."
