A/N: Here it is (a bit early I know but I couldn't help myself) the first chapter in the Sibling Rivalry fic. This chapter is quite short and it's only purpose is to introduce the characters and plot. I hope you enjoy!
The first thing any of the 4 of them could remember, it was names being spoken from the lips of what they knew to be their fathers. The darkest of the 4 was the first to be named; she remembered hearing a high voice saying: Tambri Hummel-Anderson. Tambri then squirmed gently in the arms of the person who had spoken. She could feel something as small as her kick near her and It comforted her to know that she was not alone.
The next to be named was Gavin, the first of the 2 boys. Gavin was dark carmel in colour and was the darker of the 2 boys, much like Tambri was the darkest of the girls. Once again, Tambri felt a kick near her and this time she was aware of the general shape of 3 other pups surrounding her. The feeling of warmth and comfort grew around her as she heard soft laughter coming from above her.
As the name Aiden was spoken in a deep voice, the other boy who had been kicking began to calm instinctively, knowing that this name was meant for him. He curled up into a warm body in front of him and his chestnut fur matched her golden-brown fur perfectly. As the focus was shifted to the last pup, she remained content like the others to sleep around each other. Slowly, some names began to be tossed around. As the name Krista was finally spoken she felt something click inside of her and she involuntarily sneezed. Finally, the 4 of them were utterly content and they curled closer to each other in an attempt to keep that contact between them all. After a few minutes, Gavin heard a familiar voice coming from some distance away.
"What do you mean?"
"Blaine, these are Alpha pups. They're going to have to go through the Pup Fight. You're going to lose two of them." Gavin may not have understood every word that was said but he understood one thing: he was going to have to fight his siblings and maybe even kill two of them. He didn't move or do anything to show his brother and sisters that anything was wrong but one thought kept going through his head: he had to win the Pup Fight.
A/N: I just want you to know that I have nothing against Gavin as a werewolf, but somebody needed to be the bad guy.
