in this in shot, I will attempt to explain why children of Athena have belly buttons. Plz comment! it means a lot!

Athena pov:

As I felt that the time had come, there was another child to come. I excuse my self from the group and run to my room, I've learn from experience that giving birth should be and always will be a private event. As I enter I summon a nymph, they are always so helpful in these situations.

"Hello Athe- I mean Miss" the young thing stutterers. this must be her first time. I collapse on my bed, the baby was starting the headache.

"LET ME OUT!LET ME OUT! MUM PLEASE! LET ME OUT!" it appeared to be a girl.

"I need my pick-" I started but never finished, this one wanted out any way possible.

"Yes Miss, of course Miss" the nymph stated, she wasn't so nervous now and ran straight to my chest of draws and brought out my small hammer with a point.

"would you like me to do it?" she asked. I gave a quick nod, I should have nymphs take some kind of training for this kind of thing. I mean does no one know how hard it is to hit your self in the back of the head in a specific spot with a headache?

the nymph closes her eyes and brings the hammer down with a wack. the headache stopped, I felt it drain from the back of my head and leave my body. Soon, the room was filled with the sound of a baby crying. I gave a smile, it was over.

"well done Miss! A beautiful baby girl!" the Nymph smiled, I need to know her name for the sake of the child.

"I thank you for the help, my I ask you name?" I ask.

"Amy mam, My mum liked the modem names" she said with a smile.

"well thank you Amy" I tell her before swishing my hand and making a blank birth certificate appear. I write all the detail but leave the name blank.

"I'll call you Annabeth, I can see that you will do great things for the gods future." I tell the baby as I write the last detail. This silent the child, who giggles at her new name.

I bring out a soft fabric and rap the baby in it and place her in a basket with the birth certificate beneath her. I pick up the child for the last time and cradle it.

"good luck down there Annabeth, I give you my blessing" as I tell her, unravel her enough to see her stomach and place my finger where a human has a belly button. with a glowing finger I bless her with a life others would wish for and tell for ever. as I finish and remove my finger, a hole in the stomach remains to remind her of her mother and what mystery lays in Olympus.
