It's NOT fair!
A one shot story on how Angelique feels when Pinhead and Kirsty decide to get married. I do not own Hellraiser.
It wasn't fair. Pure and simple. Xipe Totec had gotten married to Kirsty Cotton now known as Dark Queen. Why didn't Xipe marry Angelique? A single tear found its way down her cheek and she sat down. She rarely ever cried. She had always thought that Pinhead would choose her to be his consort..not some damnable human. It wasn't that Angelique hated Kirsty…she didn't really know her at all enough to warrant hatred. She guessed what hurt the most was not being invited to the wedding.
Even though Kirsty had invited everyone Pinhead knew Pinhead made it clear that he did not want Angelique there. She whimpered and lay on her back staring at the unending sky. If things had been different she would have loved to be Pinhead's mate. She acted like she could care less about him but in reality she did have feelings for the pin headed cenobite. In the distance she heared the chiming bells signaling the wedding was coming to a close. Angelique barely kept a sob to her throat and ran to the chapel at least hoping to catch a glimpse of what had Pinhead worked up. She saw the bride walking alongside her husband. Despite the hurt she felt Kirsty did look beautiful. She managed a brief smile before turning away to wipe a tear. Chatterbeast glanced up and managed to catch a glimpse of Angelique before she turned away. He felt her incredible sadness mixed along with happiness that Pinhead and Kirsty had found together. He didn't want to alert his master to any of this. No need in causing trouble.
Angelique walked along the lonely corridors of the labyrinth. She knew that there was love for almost everyone. And maybe one day she would find it somewhere. She had hoped that if Kirsty had a child Angelique would be allowed to see it. She hoped Pinhead wouldn't be that "cruel" as to not let her see the child. She was at one time a member of his Gash and shouldn't she be awarded the same rights as the rest of the members?
For now she retreated her home and sat down. She was thinking. If she managed to get rid of this jealousy she was feeling and was acting nicer then maybe Pinhead wouldn't be so defensive when he saw her. The first part of her new behavior was to write a congratulations card and send it to the happy couple. Or maybe she could do one better. Get a gift and hand deliver the item herself.
