Never

I watched as her face lit up and fell at the same time. "California King Bed" by Rihanna came on, and I've never seen Ziva's face do that, and I was concerned. "Hey Zi, whats wrong?" "Nothing." "Zi, I've know you long enough. What's wrong?" "..."

I watched as a single tear fell down her cheek. "This, is one of my favourite songs, and, Ray broke up with me when this came on." "Is that why you've-?" "Yes, I've been quite upset, because of this." "Come here, Zi" I grabbed her in a hug, and started to sway in time to the music. She started to pull away, when I said "Ziva, I love you, and I have since the first day I met-"

And I didn't finish, because she kissed me. Her kiss felt like the first ray of sun on a spring morning. It felt like a warm rain, on a hot Summer day, it felt like the first snow fall in the winter. It felt so right, just kissing her. In that moment, the world could have ended, and I wouldn't have noticed. All I could take in was the sweet smell of her perfume, and the silky feel of her hair. The song ended, as did the kiss, but she still lug to me, like a scared child would cling to her teddy bear.

"I love you Tony." she whispered into my chest. "I love you too, Ziva." I said, as I bent down and kissed her head. She let go of me, and walked over to her stereo. She plugged in her I-Pod, fiddled with a few buttons, and the Natalia Kills song "If I Was God" came on. She hugged me again, and we danced for an hour. "I don't want you to go home, Tony" "I'm Not Leaving You, Ziva. I'm never going to leave you."
