Disclaimer: I do not own Phineas and Ferb.

(Isabella's POV)

I rolled my eyes when I was sure my mother wasn't looking as I listened to my mother's blabber about one of many of the rich families which were currently trying to persuade my mother to agree to a marriage and allow their son to have me as their bride.

Actually, the only reason these rich families are even interested to have me as member of the family is because of my beauty that is known all over the kingdom and that their son will look good with a beautiful, doll-like girl as his bride.

"Isabella, as you know the highly ranked Lord Belkinforth and Lady Belkinforth are looking forward to have you as their daughter in-law, but I heard you turned down their son many, many times." My mother frowned. "You should also be aware that once you marry their handsome son, Clarence, your status will be immediately secured, and that they will take good care of you once you are his wife."

I have to personally admit that life will be living like a princess once I marry their son, but I didn't turn him down a hundred and three times to suddenly be willing to accept! Most likely I will end up as a trophy wife, and once an important event happens, he will take me to the event and show me off to jealous men.

"Mother, if I must repeat the same conversation we had yesterday, I am not interested at all!"

"But dear, Clarence is one of the most handsome men in the kingdom, and-"

"And not to be boastful, but aren't I the prettiest?" I closed my eyes and slowly breathed in and out.

"Very well, I will give you a choice." My mother's eyes narrowed. "Marry Clarence, or any prince of your choice. You can take as long as you want, but remember that Clarence won't wait forever."

"Good." I hiss, and went up to my room to pack my belongings.

This kingdom's prince doesn't qualify, for he is already married. And going after a married man would be awkward and if anyone found out I will probably be burned alive for seducing the prince. Looks like I will have to go for the other neighboring kingdoms princes.

Grandville's prince's parents are restricting a rule that he can only marry a true princess, Cleveland's prince is around four years old, Graham Kingdom's prince is about to marry a princess, Groveland's rulers only have a princess…. Danville! I heard that the prince from Danville is having a contest for a bride, so I totally have a chance!

"Yes!" I shout, jumping up and down the bed, scattering the clothes on the bed that I was packing all over the floor.

"Isabella, is there something wrong, dear?" My mother called.

"Nothing, nothing at all!"

I finally packed my clothes and belongings that I feel have sentimental value, along with some food and bottle of water for the journey, and lastly some money. I can't take the carriage of a lot of money because my father has died a long time ago and he was the only one that financially supported us, so my mother has to work as a dress maker and I do other small jobs for the village for some extra income. My mother is so insistent about me marrying a rich man for my well being.

I have to thank her though, because I was once in love with Clarence, who pretended to be poor, charming and sweet to gain my affection. After I told my mother she was furious and forbid me to see him. I sneaked out on night and told Clarence what has happened, and suddenly he blurted out that he was actually rich! I was hurt he lied so I ran away, but when I wanted to apologize to him, I caught him making out with another girl. I never told my mother so she doesn't understand my disinterest in him. Of course, now that's all in the past.

I bade a farewell to my mother before I set off to walk to Danville. It would seem nearly impossible for a thin girl like me to travel the far distance to Danville, but I was once the leader of the Forest Side Girls in my kingdom and that involved having to move a mountain. And that is not simple at all.

(Phineas's POV)

I rubbed my forehead as I listened to my boring helper talking about how to choose the right wife. Of course, I have to listen to the very man who complains to me every single night about his horrible wife on how to choose a good wife. Gosh, what happened to those good days where Ferb and I were just inventing stuff and never had to think about marriage and ruling the kingdom? If you ask me, Mom and Dad seem perfectly fine and able to rule the kingdom for a long time to come.

"You wouldn't want a wife that will stab you in the middle of the night to rule the kingdom as queen, would you Your Highness?"

I grinned lamely and nodded my head slightly, which, unfortunately, encouraged him to do more marriage talking. I had to choose a wife first, then Ferb. I care for my brother, but I feel it's unfair, but oh well, he will have to go through this marriage talk sooner or later. Going through this is seriously torture.

"Well, the interview will begin now, if that's alright with you, Your Highness?" The helper grinned at me, showing all his yellow teeth.

I cringe and nodded as he slowly opened the door, revealing…

OH GOSH HOW IS THERE SO MANY GIRLS IN THE KINGDOM!?

"Of course, I made sure other girls from the other kingdoms participate too, of course. Please remember you can only choose two candidates, Your Highness."

Now I'm absolutely sure I could punch him here and now.

A\N Honestly, I feel it's too short, but my writers block is raging on in my brain. Whenever I try to write a story, I suddenly loose too much motivation and drop the pencil as soon as I pick it up. Probably not updating in a while, because school's starting and studying is going to join my writers block and form a rebellion against me. Original chapter, I admit, is way too cheesy that hardly has any story in. I don't really think anyone will miss the original first chapter.
