Disclaimer: No, I don't own nothing of this thing here we call Sailor Moon.

She usually starts with the subject's face. Her hand moves gently to outline what often is the main part of her painting. Not today. Today is an odd day for Michiru Kaioh. Today she starts with the lower part of her still unknown subject. She is painting on the balcony of her room. It is very late at night, almost morning, and she paints to rid herself of the petrifying feeling her nightmares leave her with. She is a senshi after all, and her destiny is to save the world from silence.

She is now done painting. It is the picture of a man, she notes. No, it isn't. It is the picture of a woman with manly attributes. With long legs, a wide chest and short, blonde hair. Michiru frowns because she doesn't know who that strange woman is. Michiru is, in fact, extremely sure she has never seen that androgynous beauty before. Perhaps it is someone from my other life, she muses, a blonde goddess.

She sighs, defeated. "I don't know why I painted her…" She's too tired to bother thinking about it more, though. She cleans up her painting utensils, hangs the finished painting on a wall next to her balcony and crawls into bed. When she wakes up again it will be a new day, and perhaps, the day her burden will be lightened. She reassures herself, Pluto promised me that.

"Ready to lose?" A brunette asks her boldly. She isn't interested in the brunette though and chooses to ignore her. "I'm Elsa Grey" The brunette speaks again noticing that the tall, imposing blonde has no interest in her.

"I'm Haruka Tenoh." The blonde has eyes for one thing only at this time, the finish line.

"Nice to meet you!" The brunette is overconfident, Haruka thinks and a small smile escapes her frown. 'She's in for a rude awakening.'

At last the starting shot and Haruka's mind is filled with one thing; the wind. As she purposely increases her speed, she begins to listen to the wind talking to her. It speaks of destiny and of love, two things Haruka understand very little of. She shakes her head in disapproval. 'I don't want to think anymore, I want to stop feeling.' Before she knows it, she has crossed the finish line. She is several minutes ahead of the second place, Elsa Grey. Everyone around her congratulates her as they wait for Elsa to arrive. She blushes slightly and repeats over and over again: "I guess I got carried away." Of course she didn't, every action, every movement that comes from the blonde is controlled and measured. She never gets carried away.

As she heads for the parking lot the small, annoying girl from before calls her. "Hey, Tenoh! You were great! I want to race you again!" Elsa Grey, why didn't she give up? Haruka is a little confused by her attitude. 'I beat her already…' She shrugs, again losing interest in the brunette. "Whatever." She says and walks away.
