Mist was one of those girls. She lived in caution and kept her words bottled up inside her. Matt just broke the dam open though.

"...And then he started blasting music in his apartment. I mean, really? There are other people living in this building too you know! I was debating whether or not to pound his face in with a hammer or an alarm clock. Yeah, I sleep next to both of those: some people think it's a bit weird but I'm used to it. But anyway, it was four in the morning! I have to get up early for work and he's just blasting some freakin' rap song through the thin walls! Did you know I hate rap! It's such a sorry excuse of music. Rap could very well be an acronym for retards attempting poetry. It would totally fit, unlike my grand piano. My apartment door is apparently too small. I would have even settled for it to be lifted up through my window like they do in those movies but I guess they figured it would fall and kill someone... I can only play at work now. Did you visit my cafe recently? They're all really nice to me there. It's pretty calming and they let me play whatever I want. It's pretty cool. You should visit some time, they even have your favorite cappuccino on the menu now too. Ooh, I'll get a caramel frappe. I love those. Are you free tomorrow?"

Matt stared in wonder at how fast Mist's mouth moved. He's never heard her speak more than a couple sentences at a time. She wasn't shy; just quiet. Mist always thought before she spoke. All those pent up complaints finally spilled out.

"Err.. Yeah, I would be lying if I told you I understood anything you just said," Matt sighed, only to quickly pick his sentence back up at Mist's expression, "I don't mind though! I love watching your mouth move like that!"

Matt walked past Mist for a couple steps because she had immediately stopped. She silently strode away, making quick progress on the empty trail. Confusion surged through Matt as he frantically wondered what she was upset about.

Eyes wide, realization hit Matt like a brick. He reached out towards Mist, running after her, "...WAIT- NO! I DIDN'T MEAN IT LIKE IT!"
