The scenery changes as bubbles of many colors,
Scents, and flavors float into the air…
Its fun to stick in Inuyasha's hair, but
The "gum" is gooey and easy to make a mess out of.
Then, it appears.
A colossal rainbow swirled into a spiral on a strange white twig.
A lollipop, my favorite sweet
That can last for hours or minutes
Depending on how I savor it.
Blobs of bright color that I have never
Imagined before begin to materialize and take shape when…
"Shippo! Wake up!" an annoyingly familiar voice whines,
Stealing away any hope for
Figuring out the mysterious unknown shapes
Of my dreams.
"Inuyasha you big bully!" I complain.
"Get up, Kagome will arrive at the well any moment now."
The thought takes a moment to register before an
"Oh boy!" escapes from my mouth
And I race off into the familiar forest excitement building.
I leap into her outstretched arms the moment I come into the clearing
Just in time to hear the much anticipated words,
"I have some more stuff for you…"
An already huge grin widens as my arms tighten around her neck.
