You and me are like the sides of a coin. Different yet together. We are the opposites, made to fill each other's flaws. Without you, I have no meaning. And I hope it is the same for you too.
Our love is a coin, it is strong, even though it's buried under the earth. It is still there, even if it's forgotten.
Our love was never shiny. Because, it is forceful, it stabs, it destroys, it is full of tears, full of flaws.
Our love has its own taste, even if it's not as sweet as any other love stories ever told.
Nothing would make me stop loving you. You are the every reason for me to breath. To stand still, to be strong.
You always catch me when I fall. And without doubt, I will fall to you.
Garfield put the paper down, his amethyst orbs looked up in wonder. He stared at Raven, and she too stared back at him. Her head rested neatly on top of her two pale hands, eyebrows furrowed. Garfield then cleared his throat.
"So… What do you think?" He laughed.
"I would say, not bad."
"What do you mean? Not bad?! Are you serious?!" He had poured every emotion to his writing, and her reply didn't satisfy him at all.
"Yes, because I know it took you about a week to finish it," She let out a small giggle.
"Hey! Don't tease! I tried, okay?" He pouted.
He knew he doesn't have the biggest brain of all. But he still wanted to be romantic. Being flirty was not his game anymore. He just wanted to show her that he has a sensitive side.
She moved from her armchair and then let herself sat beside him on the couch. Closing every space they had before. Her arms slowly found their way, wrapping themselves around Garfield's neck. Her eyes never left his.
"I liked it though."
"It took me a week and you only liked it?" He raised his one eyebrow.
"Okay then, Gaaaarfield… I loved it. Loved it! L-O-V-E-D-I-T! Should I spell it slower for you? L…O…V…"
"I get it, I get it!" His hand immediately cupped her cheeks, stroking them with love and care, "You know you can be cute sometimes."
"Maybe if you make more of those, you would get more kisses."
"Ahaha, no. I want my kisses everyday and I'm not wasting another week just to be kissed." He leaned close. He could smell her scent. Green tea and Lavender with a little bit of herbs.
She pressed her cold lips to his warm ones. Their eyes were closed but he swore he could tell she was smiling up to her ears.
A/N: Hi everyone. I have to let you know that this is originally written in Indonesian so I'm having a hard time to translate it to English. I hope you understand it well. Anyway, it might be short, but i kinda hope it brings warmness in your heart.
