Kitty's Birthday Wish
Hello there! I am here with yet another Kesley! Enjoy... This is a twoshot, so even though the ending is depressing there is still more to come!
I do not own TUFF Puppy.
Kitty leaned against her desk, smirking at the beet-red Keswick.
"Agent Ka-Ka-Katswell are you sure that's what you want?" Keswick stuttered. Kitty knew he was trying to get out of it.
"You said I could have anything I want. That is what I want" she said smoothly.
Before you can start thinking things, it's best to tell you what Kitty wanted. She wanted the best for Keswick, so instead of asking for a selfish gift, she wanted Keswick to confess his love for Dudley.
Keswick, however, was extremely adament.
"I can't. I'm not ready" he explained. Kitty rolled her eyes.
"Keswick, it's been a year since you told me. And since you told me a year after you realized it, that means you've felt that way for two years! It won't go away, so stop hoping it will!" she cried. Keswick looked down.
"Keswick, even if you get me a material gift, I expect you to confess. At my party, in front of everyone" she stated. Keswick sighed sadly.
"And what if I don't?" he asked timidly, almost afraid of the answer.
"If you don't want to do it publicly, then you can wait until after the party. But I'll be in the room at all times, so don't bother saying that you did it when you didn't" Kitty allowed.
Keswick sighed, knowing he had absolutely no way of getting out of this.
...
Two weeks later, Kitty's birthday party was in full swing. Everyone was dancing, doing karaoke, and just having fun.
Well, almost everyone. Keswick kept looking at Kitty, and she kept looking back, and with every glance he lost more and more of his resistance.
Finally, he snapped. He went to Kitty, and dragged her away from the crowd.
"I'll do it" he said. Kitty beamed.
"Excellent. Now, let's make the announcement to open the presents" she stated. Kitty went to the center of the room, and promptly made the announcement.
A bag of catnip from Dudley, a wind-up mouse from Chief, and a laser pointer from her boyfriend, the Chameleon. Everyone else got her a gift card.
"Now, it's time for Keswick's gift" Kitty said. Keswick sucked up a large intake of breath.
"Yes... Um, well... Agent Katswell, she wanted what was beh-beh-best for me. So she told me repeatedly these last two weeks, whah-whah-what she wanted me to do. And well, I didn't agree at first... But now I just need to get it off my chest" Keswick began.
"So, what is it?" The Chief asked impatiently. Keswick sighed.
"I love you, Agent Puppy" he said finally.
He heard the shocked gasps, but the most audible was Dudley's. He saw all the widened eyes, but the most noticeable were Dudley's. This is because he was completely focused on Dudley, and when he saw that reaction, he took it as a bad sign.
Tears rushed to his eyes, and he ran out the door, not wanting to stay there for another moment.
