Notes: This is dedicated to Stephanie because she is the Brittany to my Sam, and she gave me the idea. And we flailed. A lot.
Sam wasn't sure what possessed him to text Brittany in the morning (after he had spent 45 minutes puking his guts out in the bathroom) but he grinned like an idiot when she agreed to hang out. Santana had been ignoring him since the night before, and he didn't feel like dealing with her; his headache was already bad enough.
Brittany suggested going to the mall when he picked her up in his truck, so they headed that way.
"Let's go in here!" Brittany yelled excitedly once they were at the mall, and grabbed Sam's hand pulling him into some hipster type shop.
He browsed the racks as the blonde disappeared in the back. He picked up a shirt, and was just about to check the price when Brittany came back with a huge grin on her face and her hands behind her back.
"What ya got there?" Sam asked, placing the shirt back.
She winked and showed him both of the hats in her hands. "Aren't they cute?"
He laughed and shook his head. "There is no way I am wearing that."
Brittany just walked closer, placing a frog hat on his head before he could protest. She giggled and pointed to the mirror behind him. "I got you this hat because Santana said you had frog lips."
Sam squinted at himself, and shot Brittany a look in the mirror. She was grinning slyly, and then reached up to adjust the hat so it was in place. Then he was being turned around, and he was staring into gorgeous blue eyes.
Before he could think of what was happening, Brittany was kissing him. He closed his eyes, and placed his hands on her hips pulling her just a tiny bit closer. Then suddenly she was pulling away with a look on her face that he was well aware of. They couldn't blame this on the alcohol.
"I've never kissed one before, but you're definitely a better kisser than a frog." Brittany whispered, still holding onto his biceps.
Sam gave her a huge grin and pulled away, taking the other hat from her hand.
"A fox huh? It suits you 'cause you're a pretty foxy lady."
Sam could have sworn Brittany blushed and he felt a sense of pride; he could never make Santana blush.
"Let's get these. I am so wearing this to school tomorrow!" She grabbed his hand again, dragging them to the register.
There was no way he was wearing his hat to school, but he didn't stop her when they exited the store, and she put the hat back on his head. He wore it the rest of the day.
