Hey ya'll! This is for the Daily Prophet Competition over in the QLFC forum. Now, it is no secret that I stink at poetry, but I thought I'd give it a try, especially since we're studying poetry in school, and April is national poetry month. So I wrote a poem about Quirrell's relationship with Voldemort.
Prompts:
-A poem 500 words or less
-relationships
-fire
Position: Chaser #3 on the Falmouth Falcons
Disclaimer: I own nothing
It was worth it
To give your entire being over to someone as great as him
As you try your hardest to bring him back
It was worth the horrible feeling of burning in a hell fire
As you are reduced to a pile of ash
The memories you made with each other would have only brought you closer
Had your plan actually succeeded
And that was worth it because for once in your life you had a friend
A powerful, corrupt friend who wanted to take over the world and all that
But the relationship you shared with him was special
He made you feel powerful, and maybe a little terrified
He made you feel that for maybe once in your life you were worth it
Which is what made all of his crazy plans that you carried out
Totally worth it
Well, leave me a review telling me what you think, and I hope you enjoyed it.
