Kyou and the Kitten
Tohru, Yuki, and Kyo all sat down to eat when there was a knock at the door.
"I'll get it." Tohru said standing up and walking toward the door. She opened it with a smile on her face as she said "Hello." Tohru looked down to see a grey baby kitten on the door way in a picnic basket. "Awe it's a kitten." Tohru said bending down and retrieving the basket with the kitten in it, and bringing it in to the house to show to Yuki and Kyo.
"What is it?" Kyo shouted as Tohru entered the room with the basket in hand.
"It's a kitten see?" she said gently pulling it out of the basket.
"Did you see anyone in the woods that could have left it there?" Yuki asked standing up to pet the kitten.
"I think we should we throw it outside." Kyo said glaring at the kitten as it started to purr when Yuki petted it.
"That's pretty cruel coming from a cat. Or are you jealous it might take your place?" Yuki said still petting the cat.
"That thing wishes it could be better than me." Kyo argued.
And just like that the house had a new pet.
Walking to school that day Kyo was grumpier than normal.
Tohru, Yuki, and Kyo ran into Huru and Momijj.
"What's your problem cat?" Huru said angry that Kyo looked so angry.
"He's jealous." Yuki said turning to look at Kyo.
"I'm not jealous you damn rat!" Yuki rolled his eyes at Kyo seeing people stare.
"Shut up you're making a scene." Yuki said as more people started to stare.
"I'm going to make a scene when I beat you up!" Kyo lunged at Yuki. Yuki easily deflected the attack. This went on for several minutes till a teacher broke up the fight and suspended Kyo for a week.
Tohru and Yuki arrived home to see Kyo glaring at the kitten as it pranced around on the table.
"You think your so smart don't you?" Kyo yelled at the kitten who ignored him and continued prancing.
"Don't yell at the kitten it's hasn't even touched you." Yuki said scooping up the kitten off the table. Kyo's face flashed red with anger.
"You want to fight rat!" Kyo yelled standing up so quickly he almost dragged the table up with him.
"No not really." Yuki said looking bored. Kyo growled and stormed out the front door almost knocking poor Tohru off balance.
Later that night when every one was in bed and Kyo still hadn't returned Tohru awoke to some noises down stairs. She got up and headed down stairs. She peaked around the corner to se Kyo cuddling and petting the kitten.
Tohru smiled as she crept back up stairs. She fell a sleep peacefully knowing Kyo didn't really hate the kitten.
