You Can Still Be Free
You Can Still Be Free

Cool breeze and Autumn leaves
Slow motion daylight
A lone pair of watchful eyes
Oversee the living

The Lifestream flows green, the souls within traveling to their next lives. A single soul is still. Green eyes raise to a small orb which shows a man's face. He has blonde hair and aqua Mako bright eyes.

Feel the presence all around
A tortured soul
A wound unhealing

He stands at the edge of the water, staring reflectively into it's darkest depths. He takes a single rose from the basket of flowers he holds on his arm. In life, it had been her basket, holding the flowers she would sell to make her living. He puts the rose to his nose, inhaling it's sweetness before he tosses it far out into the water.

No regrets or promises
The past is gone
But you can still be free

The rose spins in the air before it lands on the crystal clear surface of the water where it floats serenely for several moments before sinking into the water, it's red petals slowly vanishing from view. It sinks as if pulled down beneath the water.

Time now to spread your wings
To take to flight
The life endeavor
Aim for the burning sun

He turns from the water, setting the basket down. Standing behind him is a woman, her deep mahogany hair falling gracefully to her knees. She takes a second rose from the basket, sending it to join the first. A single tear leaves a wet track down her cheek. He turns to the woman, his friend, and seeing the tear embraces her in comfort.

You're trapped inside
But you can still be free
If time will set you free
But its a long long way to go

Sinking slowly, the second rose soon joins the first at the bottom of the small lake. Their stems overlap as the two flowers touch the lake's floor.

Keep moving way up high
You see the light
It shines forever
Sail through the crimson skies
The purest light
The light that sets you free
If time will set you free

Green eyes close in understanding. A smile spreads over pink lips. Green eyes open once again. A shadow spreads behind the darkened feminine figure.

Sail through the wind and rain tonight
You're free to fly tonight
And you can still be free
If time will set you free

Eyes the color of wine shed tears. Bright eyes the color of aqua have no more tears to shed. A calm settles over the two.

And going higher than mountain tops
And go high the wind don't stop

The shadow settles over the figure. Masculine arms gently embrace the slim figure. Green eyes shed tears of long lost love. Black hair falls over well-muscled shoulders.

And go high

He takes the woman out to arms length, probing her wine colored eyes deeply with his aqua. Devotion, love, trust, and determination fill the woman's eyes. He slowly takes her into a kiss, seven years in the making.

Free to fly tonight
Free to fly tonight

Green eyes smile silently. Two red roses are held in a slim feminine hand. The male figure pulls the female figure with him, deeper into the life stream. Silently, she sends her farewell as she turns and follows the shadow.
