Author's Note: This poem of sorts has seven pieces, being the first dedicated to all Final Fantasy's story's and games who have marked me forever. The other six are dedicates to the chars of XII. They're in order of appearance and are marked by a CAPITAL first letter. Enjoy it.
ONCE held down in the ground
Now flying across the distant skies
No longer bound,
It flies yet still now
Once it dreamed
Now it does
In the realm where fantasy and reality are wed
Like an Eagle in the sun
So quick time flows
Yet we had fun
But with its soar through the distant heavens
Comes a word
Three letters that we feared since the beginning
But time is endless
Fate's ways are startling
And it is fearless
Everything has its stop
For good and bad
Every story has its end
And even dreams must fade
This as well
But let's remember the sun's days
Let's remember Vayne's madness
Ashe's rule
And Balthier's silver tongue

HE once dreamt as well
Searched everywhere
All to be in vain
In sky a hope
Answer beyond a plain
Brother gone now
Love further ahead
All the way down
In the green mead
Where crystal lakes evaporate

Here is my stance
Born in power,
He lives in humility
A free spirit
A carefree wit
He needs not earth

Greater treasures live beyond

Rules by the diamond law
Everything else falls
FOR times and times she walked
More times yet she was marked
An outcast, a stranger
But now, her fate
Is again with her name
In darkness she found light
Perfection in one
A winged knight
A twin soul
Her star in the dark of night
Like her, he only wants freedom
Refugees from their past they are
More similar than they ever thought
A simple knot
In what is fate's cruel plot
And although roads are long
Waters cold
Winds strong
They we'll see their future unfold along
And they will realise
Together they belong
SHADOWS haunt him not
Ghosts vanish by his look
A vow taken
Flames fade away
And history is forsaken
A warrior all his life
Now in gentle duty he is found
Gone with the severe chains!
Shattered image that weighted a pound
A broken memory of an ancient hound
Away with jail's yolk
Again he is returned
But still remembers his folks
Souls burned into his own
Challenges faced
Revelations met
A new path was laid
Yet a promise is left to be kept
THROUGH blood and perdition
All the way from death's rest to life's origin
Conqueror of scions
Queen of desert lands
With honour and sacrifice
More nobility still
She fought for her country
And an ill world she denied
Yet she learned by heart
Madness is the fool's path
A way that only kindness can redeem
Holder of Sun's authority
If we are eagles,
She is hawk
Lady of prosperity
SHE watched ideas dash
Hopes taking off
Too a mashed seal
Yet still, an unexplainable rush
A never ending feel
Off she got with him
To the highest of mountains
To the deepest of caverns
She was his fountain
He was her mountain
Like twins they grew
And when times were darker
Their relation brewed
From the faraway sunset
A moment when they opened an urn
For him, she will always return
