"Can I help you?" Jen said to the man who just walked up her. Her friend had warned her not to go to the rave alone, but she didn't listen. "Can I have this dance?' he asked. She could hardly say no, after all, his non threatening smile combined with dark brown hair and a completely hot body was a magnet enough. He wouldn't have had to say a word to get her on the dance floor. That and she was high. After the song was over and the strobe lights came on for the next one, he surprised her. "Your cute." he said. "Thank you." Jen said sheepishly. "I think I'll have you." Without notice his lips came to her neck. Jen, expecting a kiss, simply smiled and pulled him in closer. But in the mist of the music, a scream left her lips. The kiss was a bite. And she was doomed to follow her master into the sheltering darkness. As he pulled away, Jen had enough time to see two bloodstained fangs before she fainted in his arms.

Two years later

Jen was now a full fledged vampire. She followed her master dutifully almost everywhere he went. Her master, Falcon, was leader of a small pack of vampires. She had learned to listen to everything he said, knowing that pain would follow did she not. "Ji" he said. "Coming Master", Jen yelled against the boom of the stereos in the cub. Falcon was always looking for new humans to dine on. He was used to the best, and the best were only found in New York's downtown Nightclubs. She was also used to him calling her Ji. But she could only call him Master, at least until he released her. As she made her way through the crowd, she remembered her first night as a vampire, and how Falcon had explained to her how her life was to be from then on.

Falcon threw her on the bed, startling her into consciousness. "Where - " "You really don't want to know". She sat up, looking around. She knew it was around two am, but everything was bright as day. "This will all seem a little strange to you, but please bear with me. You really don't have any other choice anyway." He sat next to her, and stroked her brown hair. "I'm a vampire, and as of twenty minutes ago, so are you." As Jen tried to grasp this concept, he stood up and took out a small cross necklace. "Since I chose you, I am your master." He slipped the necklace over her head. "Do not call me Falcon, only 'master'. Obey my commands and you will stay safe. You will learn what will happen if you disobey. Falcon stood up and left Jen on the bed. He closed the door and a click alerted Jen that it had been locked. At that moment, she began to cry.

"You called master.", she asked, stopping in front of a V.I.P. booth. "Go tell that young lady in the blue that I wish to buy her a drink." he said, vaguely pointing out a lady on the dance floor. "Yes master." She walked over to the lady, and told her Falcon's request. As soon as the lady laid eyes on her master, Jen knew it was to late to her inevitable death. Jen walked back to her post on the far end of the dance floor. She got a lot of looks from hot guys, even if their girlfriends didn't approve. All Jen could do was smile, Falcon had made it very clear that she was his, she wasn't even allowed to dance at the clubs they went to. Sighing to herself, Jen went to the bar and purchased a Bloody Mary. The bartender took her order literally, knowing that she belonged to Falcon. As Jen watched the lady follow Falcon into a V.I.P. lounge room, she sipped her drink and enjoyed the thought that her master would be in a good mood tonight.
