I got the idea fore this little story while I was reading another FanFic, and no I did not steel the idea, this story is completely my own. But sadly Naruto is not, he belongs to Masashi Kishimoto. And review if your not to lazy.

Pain

The pain of being all alone, never knowing what love is like is the worst pain there is.

That empty, hollow filing eating away at your heart. That pain Naruto knew all to well.

At the age of six all he knew was loneliness and sorrow. The only smiles he received was from the Hokage. The Hokage was the person Naruto knew never would abandon him.

Looking over at the other children from his spot on the swing, he wondered what it was like having a family. A mother fussing over him. A father telling him how proud he was that Naruto was his son. And maybe even a baby brother or sister.

It was just a dream.

But he remember something the Hokage told him once

Flashback

"Hei, old man, whats it like to be Hokage" Naruto said, he was siting one his bed looking out over the village. The fireworks illuminateing the sky.

The Hokage sight "It's like being the head of a family. I take care of them and see to that they are safe, but now it's time fore some one to go to bed"

"OK, old man, but only if you stay a bit longer" The Hokage nodded, preparinghimself for a long wait, but it wasn't necessary as he heard soft snores from the bed,.

"Happy Birthday, Naruto" The Hokage said to the now six year old sleeping in the bed.

Flashback end

Gazing up at the bright blue sky with eyes the same color, wile blond looks waved in the wind, he felt the dull pain. The pain in his heart. Turning his eyes to the Hokage faces and remembering the Hokages words, a wile of fire began to grow. If having a family was a dream, he would make the dream reality.

He would work hard and don't take any short cuts.

He would make everybody see he was not a freak, monster or a demon. He was Naruto Uzumaki future Hokage of Konohagakure no Sato.

And then some day the pain would disappear.
