A/N: I know, another one. The poems keep on coming.
Disclaimer: Nothing has changed since the last time I wrote a Cats based poem-still not owning it!
Flying
I know a Jellicle cat who flies
Across the misty moonlit night,
A cat whose ethereal glowing eyes
Betray his clandestine magical might.
He throws his voice to far-away places;
He's heard in the living room close to the flames,
Yet high on the grey- tiled roof he paces;
The great Houdini he even shames.
With one word he can rival the light of the moon;
He can shoot sparks with a flick of his paw;
He conjures a kitten while humming a tune
With a single wave of his sharp black claw.
He dances with a knife-bearing dove,
He lounges around with a lion, his friend,
All of his tribe behold him with love;
With a group of young toms he is sure to contend.
He can walk with no trouble on a hair-thin wire,
He can slip through the tiniest crack unseen,
His tricks may sometimes earn other's ire,
But always laugh or a chuckle he'll glean.
I know of a Jellicle cat who flies
Across the misty moonlit night,
A cat whose joyful, golden-lined cries
Bring one's spirit to an incredible height.
