Within the Moon's Embrace
Disclaimer: Is there a reason for me to say this when it's quite obvious that I don't own anything like that and I'm too lazy to bother producing an anime or a manga. So no I don't own Kyou Kara Maou (how tedious).

The moon's ethereal glow painted the garden of Blood Pledge Castle in a quiet yet mysterious sense of beauty. The fountain located in the garden stood motionless as though frozen in time. However, the peaceful tranquility was broken by the soft scuffle of boots on the slightly grainy path. A light sigh was emitted from the figure, strolling through the garden in the blanket of night. Coming to a stop near the fountain, Wolfram seated himself on the edge of it, emerald eyes focused on the moon above.
A small, sad smile ghosted his lips, adding a sense of broken beauty to the surrounding garden. Feelings warred within the young blond soldier, but his calm demeanour stated otherwise. Another sigh escaped his lips, dimmed green eyes coming to rest on the ground. A slight shiver ran down his spine due to the chill of the night.
Confused and lost, Wolfram turned his attention to the water, reflecting the moon's soft glow. His left hand lightly glided across the water's surface like a lover's caress. The water weaved in between his fingers, disturbing the stillness from before. Seeing how the water easily passed through his grasp, it reminded him of his relationship with the young king. After all, Yuuri possessed the water, while he controlled the fire. They were opposites in many ways and he knew that his feelings of love were fruitless.
The king never acknowledged him as more than a friend. It hurt, yet he knew it was better than nothing. Although, Wolfram held some hope no matter how pointless it seemed because he knew what he felt was real and not some measly crush or infatuation. He cared deeply for Yuuri to the point of willingly sacrificing his life, not just as a soldier should, but of his love for him.
He saw the pitying looks on other people's faces, though he refused to let it get to him. He was a soldier after all. Looking back at the water again, he was reminded of Yuuri's absence since he had gone back to his world to take care of something. Turning away, Wolfram glanced around the garden as memories of time spent here flashed before his eyes.
A crystalline tear managed to escape, trailing down his porcelain skin to drop and land in the palm of sun-kissed skin. Wolfram gasped in shock, eyes widening in disbelief at the sight before him. Yuuri kneeled before him a soft smile gracing his features, bringing out the dark brilliance of his eyes. Yuuri's right hand cradled Wolfram's left cheek, tenderly rubbing his thumb across the skin. A light flush adorned Wolfram's cheeks, lowering his eyes to his lap in embarrassment.
Yuuri continued to smile as he pulled Wolfram into his embrace, wrapping his arms around him lovingly. Wolfram stiffened then relaxed into the hug with his arms being cradle between them.
"I'm sorry." Yuuri whispered gently into Wolfram's ear.
Wolfram shivered and blushed from Yuuri's breath, brushing lightly across his ear. He felt Yuuri tighten his hold around him. A small, smile lit up Wolfram's face, bringing out the brilliance of his emerald, green eyes, as he slowly nodded to Yuuri's words and snuggled further into his embrace. No more words were needed.
Under the majestic, ebony sky, loved bloomed within the sinuous embrace of the moon's delicate glow.
