Frozen
Summary: She knew what it was like to be frozen inside now. Alphabet Challenge: I for Icy. Alec/Max Friendship.
Her heart bled for the second time that night. Holding all that is, within her mind. He life had gone down, she even wondered what she could do. Maybe she was better off dead, if only this pain died too. Her own heart frozen in an icy tomb, waiting for some abled body to melt it all back to human standards.
She felt like the soldier she was made to be right at this moment. And it was all because of one Logan Cale. He had betrayed her. She was not the first it seems, his first transgenic who worked for Eyes Only. He had betrayed her by using her brother Seth and getting him killed.
Logan had doused the that remaining flame that was between the two of them the moment he told her about what he himself had Seth do. Closing herself off after that she headed to the Space Needle to be alone.
" I knew I'd find you here."
" I came to be alone."
" Listen Max, I know he..."
" Don't defend him to me, Alec. You didn't even like him."
" You liked him. I'm trying to be sympathetic here, Maxie."
" Well, Don't. I don't need your pity."
" It's not pity..."
" Look, the best you can do for me right now is to sit down and be quiet. Can you do that for me?" She asked of him. He nodded his reply and they both just sat in silence gazing down upon the city.
