Granted a short stop from the ZPD, Splerai-Zootopian Emperor Splero finally had the opportunity to take a break at his secondary residence somewhere in Bunnyburrow to do some countryside farming near Judy Hopps' residence.
Somewhere in Bunnyburrow, Emperor Splero was just planting a few carrot and blueberry seeds on the new swat of land that he brought recently from Judy's parents. The human Splerai'ian monarch-turned-officer went to the rural countryside since he was granted by Chief Bogo to take a few days off from duty. Both regents Chimpan and Michelle remained in the palace at Downtown Zootopia since they wanted to keep the residence in order so the Emperor himself went to Judy's rural residence instead. Despite that, Splero was elated to be at Bunnyburrow. The place suits him since the countryside reminds him the same rural plains back at Splerai'ia.
After planting the seeds on the soil, he unrolled a farming irrigation hose through the whole field. With the hose set, Splero switched it on and the water started to sprinkle on the seed-planted field. He steps back so that he would get drenched in the spray and as he gazes on the field, a sigh of relief was released followed by a chuckle.
"Ah, yes. Countryside farming in Bunnyburrow. What a sight!"
His initial happiness then disappeared when he checked the seed sachets. The two sachets were all empty and he only planted 4 blueberry seeds and 6 carrot seeds on his farmland.
"Oh, great. I'm out of seeds now."
Splero kept the sachets on his pockets. He then turned his head and saw Judy exiting from her house while carrying a straw basket full of freshly harvested crops. She placed the basket carefully on the ground and took a stretches. Splero smiled to himself as he watched her from a distance. He turned his head to face Stu Hopps' crops and he became curious to the crops that was planted next to a line of Night howler flowers.
"What the? Those are Night howlers."
His suspicious thoughts continued on and Splero approached to Judy. When the rabbit finished stretching her paws out, the monarch clear his throat softly.
"Judy?"
"Yeah?"
"Mind if I ask you a question?"
"Sure, Sire. What is it?"
"Does your father and mother grow their crops with Night howlers?"
"Ah, yes. They do. Why?"
"Ain't they were licensed enough to use the flowers in the sense of agriculture, Judy?"
"Oh. They were licensed enough, Splero. The reason of why they use the Night howlers is because the flowers were being used as a bug repellant or something."
"I see."
"By the way, why are asking about that?"
"Nothing, Judy except for something that worries me."
"You mean the Night howlers that my parents used?"
"Yes, Judy." "Oh, don't worry. We're using it with utmost care."
"Ok then."
Judy grabbed a straw basket full of carrots and blueberries.
"Anything else, Sire?"
"Ah, yes. I wanted to ask your father if he still have some seeds left for me to plant on my own swat of land here. I just planted my last stock of carrot and blueberries just a moment ago but those were not enough."
"Interesting. What kind?"
"How about some Calabaza seeds?"
"Calabaza seeds, eh? Never heard of that before."
"Really?"
"Yeah but I think Gideon Grey left some of his own seed to my father earlier."
"That's great! Where's your father anyway?"
"He's inside the house, Sire. I saw him talking with Nick at the living room."
"Ok. Thanks!"
"Pleasure."
Splero then departs.
