Everybody Hurts

Heero sat at his window, looking out at the night sky. He couldn't take this pain anymore. He had been trying to cope with it for most of his life, but now it was catching up to him. He just couldn't take it anymore. He once again looked up at the night sky and tears began to stream down his face.
~Sometimes everything is wrong.
Now it's time to sing along.
When you day is night alone,
if you feel like letting go,
when you think you had too much
of this life,
well hang on.~
Heero's whole body shook with each sob. Everything was so wrong. The killing, the pain, the sorrow. All of it. He wished he could just make it stop. Make it all go away. Make it all disappear forever. He just had too much of it. He couldn't take it anymore. It was just too much.

Take comfort in your friends.

Don't throw your hand.

Heero lifted his tear-stained face and looked up at Duo. He wiped his tears away, but he couldn't keep new tears from falling. Duo wrapped his arms around Heero's trembling body and held him tightly. He spoke softly, comfortingly. They would go through this together. Heero wouldn't be alone. He would have help. He knew that with Duo by his side, he would be able to get through this.
