The women's figure skating division, no matter what anyone says, isn't really that great of a contest.

Sure, the skaters are elegant and their flexibility adds beauty to their performances, but Sakura didn't really find it much of a challenge.

And now, as she ends her performance with her signature move, a quadruple axel, she smiles as she poses for the last time.

The cheers weren't filling her with adrenaline anymore, there was no exhilaration. She simply smiled, waving at the cheering crowd as she skated towards her coach, Tsunade.

The blonde woman smiled, patting her on her shoulder. "Once again, you did great. You never fail to amaze the crowd."

Sakura nodded, her lips lifting up in a smile. A smile so fake it was impossible not to notice. And notice, her coach did.

'What ever happened to my once gleeful prodigy?'

Sakura Haruno was a name known in the skating world. Whether it be male or female, everyone associated with figure skating will forever know her as the female who was considered to be a living legend for winning three consecutive World Championships, four straight Grand Prix Finals, numerous European championships, and also as one of the top figure skaters in the world, second to none in the women's division.

Was, being the keyword.

Imagine the shock of everyone as the so-called living legend failed a performance, which quickly escalated to completely bombing her whole career as a skater.
