She held the ring tightly, before she finally figured out what she was going to do.
Or rather, what Charles intended her to do.
"No! I won't marry him even if I did!"
She remarked angrily as she threw the ring onto the floor hard.
However, as the ring twisted a few times before finally landing on the ground, she sighed heavily.
Charles wanted this to happen, and she knew that whether she liked it or not...
She would still have to make the most difficult decision of her life.
This marriage will not be legal, and will never be legal, not under her watch.
But if she doesn't accept the 'proposal'...
Rose and Emma might be in greater danger than ever, and not to mention the Sommerset twins.
If he laid his hands on them again...
She picked the ring up again slowly, and with a cold, hard glare at the automaton...
She reluctantly placed the ring on its finger.
"There, it's done."
She remarked darkly as the automaton came to life.
She resisted the sudden urge to punch the automaton in the face.
"You've made me so happy, Detective."
Charles smiled maniacally and said in a taunting manner.
She didn't say anything, or offer any comment.
Her glare was controlled, and firm.
"I apologised for the lengthy courtship, but looked how we've bonded."
The detecive 'humphed' at that, but then kept silent.
There were lives in stake here, and every move must be considered carefully.
Especially when it comes to that monster and his similarly unstable son.
Charles did not seem to notice, however, and instead continued taunting and, was happy and smiling.
Despite the unpleasant position Charles had put her in, she smirked.
He was being overconfident. He felt that he was going to win.
He felt that since she was under his grasp, he could control her like a puppet.
Little did he know...
The self-destruct control dial was hidden in her pocket.
"Come, see what I have built for us, my love."
He became instantly disgusted when he said the words 'my love', which, to the detective, confirmed his motives.
He faked this whole union to finish it all.
He wanted to get rid of her, along with Emma and her other companions, while they were in his grasp.
Once and for all.
She waited until Charles broke the communication means once again, before remarking.
"I have been brought to this nightmarish place three times, but now it's time to end this."
Charles is slipping. Victor would be overconfident too, since he would be even more certain that his father will win this battle.
Now would be the best time to end it all.
"It's time to end this nonsense and the undying Dalimar legacy."
Fury once again took over her, but it was directed towards Charles and his son.
As soon as the key to free Emma appeared, she took it quickly and rushed towards the chamber.
She knew what she had to do.
"Charles Dalimar, I am coming for you."
"I will end you and your son...permanently."
