Title: Say Goodnight Not Good-bye

Summary: In Harry's sixth year at Hogwarts, he and his friends try to uncover a killer at Hogwarts. It all began with a few pranks that seemed innocent of nature. But they progressively grew more and more vicious, then somebody was killed and that changed everything.

Warnings: Much more for language and violence than for sex.

Notes: See this as a teaser; I will defiantly update more when school's over. So after 2006-06-08 I'll have the time to update often. I'll try to make each chapter 5000 characters long (no spaces).

Feel free to rant at me to update after that date, because I really want to continue this tale.

Disclaimer: The recognizable people, places, events, and spells in this story do not belong to me, but to J. K. Rowling. I'm not making a profit off this story involving them, nor claiming ownership of them.

Prologue: Screams From the Lamb

Harry fell to the ground and a sudden sharp pain to his mid-section spread through his body. He put his hands to his torso to stop the pain from spreading. He looked at the dimmed stars in the sky, his green eyes widened with fear. His torso and hands was gleaming with blood and his Gryffindor courage dripped away with the blood from his fingers.

Harry knew that everyone was asleep at this time. Soft snoring sounds would come from Ron, and Hermione's brown hair probably covered her sleeping face. Snape, he was a night person, he would be awake. However, Harry's quiet moans would never reach the dungeons.

A hysterical sob pushed through Harry's lips. By the wall near the door that leads to freedom and innocence, a dark slightly blurry figure looked at him with a mocking expression. His bane. Harry tried to push himself up, but he only managed to push the bloody knife away from him with his foot.

"Oh, Merlin" a metallic taste met his taste buds. Couldn't there be anything in this tower that wasn't connected with blood.

This is all wrong. It just can't be. Please somebody come and help me.

Harry felt himself shivering; everything was starting to turn so cold. The darkness was beginning to engulf him.

Help me...I'm not a hero, anybody. Please, so cold.

Everything started to turn blurry. The stars grew fainter.

Cold.

Save me from this.
