Authors Note: This came to my head after watching Glee Actually. The song is Angels Among Us by Alabama.

Burt walked out onto the stage facing an empty auditorium.

"I was walkin home from school, on a cold winter day. Took a shortcut, through the woods, and I lost my way. It was gettin late and I was scared and alone. But then a kind old man took my hand and led me home."

He took a place in the center of the stage.

"My momma couldn't see him, oh but he was standing there. And I knew in my heart, he was the answer to my prayer. Oh, I believe there are angels among us, sent down to us from somewhere up above. They come to you and me, in our darkest hours. To show us how to live, to teach us how to give. To guide us in the light of love."

Blaine appeared at the opposite side of the stage and walked towards Burt.

"When life held troubled times and had me down on my knees. There's always been someone to come along and comfort me. A kind word from a stranger, a phone call from a friends just to say I understand."

As Blaine came to stand next to Burt, he smiled, then turned to face the empty auditorium as well.

"But ain't it kinda funny, at the dark end of the road. That someone lights the way with just a single ray of hope."

The entire Glee club, old and new, then appeared behind Blaine and Burt, and joined in the chorus.

"Oh I believe there are angels among us. Sent down to us from somewhere up above. They come to you and me, in our darkest hours. To show us how to live, to teach us how to give. To guide us in the light of love."

Then Kurt walked out from the center of the Glee club, right to Blaine and Burt. Where he was greeted by a hand from his dad and an arm, that wrapped around his waist from Blaine.

"They were so many faces, show up in the strangest places. To grace us with their mercy, in our time of need."

A tear slipped from his eyes as everyone joined in, feeling the love and support around him.

"Oh I believe there are angels among us. Sent down to us from somewhere up above. They come to you and me, in our darkest hours. To show us how to live, to teach us how to give. To guide us in the light of love."

Then Burt took a step forward as he finished the song.

"To guide us in the light of love."

Everyone ran and embraced the Hummel's in a great group hug.

"Thank you."

Kurt whispered so just Blaine and Burt heard.
