Laura woke up. It was the last day of Summer and she couldn't wait for the sixth grade. Her and Kana were gonna have so much fun.

"HAMTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTARO!!!!" she shrieked.

Hamtaro jumped.

"Hamtaro I just can't wait!!!!! Summer is almost over!!! Sixth grade is gonna be sooo cool!"

'Laura, you didn't have to wake me up!' he thought.

Laura quickly got dressed.

"Kana is coming over for lunch! We are going to buy new clothes for school!"

Hamtaro nodded. He tried to curl up and go back to sleep.

"Oh Hamtaro" Laura sighed. "I wish you were a human"

Laura left the room. Hamtaro opened his eyes.

'Human, why does she want me to be a human?' he thought.

Hamtaro quickly got out of his cage and headed toward the clubhouse. When he got there, everyone was staring at him.

"Where have you been?" Boss exclaimed.

"I'm sorry, I've been a little down, Laura said she wished I were human..." he said. "She's sick of me"

Boss's ears dropped.

"Sorry...."

Hamtaro took a seat next to Dexter. The ham-hams began to talk about the end of Summer.

"It'll be easier in the Summer because our humans have to go to school!" Bijou said. "I love beeing hear at the clubhouse, Boss"

Boss blushed.

"Well, I...I love...it when you are...are..here...B-Bijou"

Bijou blushed too.

'What did Laura mean by me being human?' Hamtaro kept thinking.
