"You will all pay!" The demoness screeched, pulling a long vile from her
robes. Inuyasha recognized her scent as the faint one he'd smelled the past
two weeks. That meant she'd been following them and watching their every
move. Her eyes narrowed as they first fell on Miroku. "I know the perfect
curse for a lecherous monk," the sly voice cackled. Miroku dodged the first
energy blast, but was not so lucky with the second. He fell to the ground,
and a dark energy field surrounded him. Sango immediately rushed to his
side but was refused by the warding as she frantically tried to free the
houshi.
"Now for the Tajiya" More energy blasts came this time towards Sango. She tried to block it with Hiraikotsu, but the energy passed through her trusted weapon. Sango too was enclosed in a small bubble of darkness.
"Did Naraku put you up to this? Or are you just another demon trying to kill us for the shards?" Inuyasha sneered trying to inch his way toward Kagome, who was frantically trying to free her friends.
"I am neither Inuyasha. But you'll discover my purpose after your own curse!" She laughed maniacally and fired an energy ball at Kagome. Inuyasha tried to block it with tetsusiega or him, but the energy passed through both as with Hiraikotsu. Kagome was wrapped in the same dark warding and Inuyasha was left with the seemingly unstoppable youkai. Kagome had sent Shippou off to get something from Kaede with Kirara as his escort, which left him with the responsibility of defeating the demon and saving his friends. 'that little runt's gonna get it for escaping this' Inuyasha thought, but in a way he was glad he didn't have to worry about the kitsune.
"Now it's your turn Inuyasha, it was actually very easy to think up your curse," a note of sweetness in her sinister voice. Inuyasha leapt toward her, his sword ready, but instead met an energy ball. He didn't remember anything else before waking
"AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" Inuyasha woke to the earth-shattering cry. He could have sworn the voice sounded familiar, but he could place whose it was. After opening his eyes Inuyasha spotted Kagome, with her back turned away from everyone, looking into the river. His attention was turned as he heard Sango's hysterical laughter coming from the fire around the camp they'd been attacked in. Inuyasha wasn't sure what he was seeing. Sango was rolling around on the ground, eyes tearing, and there was a woman dressed in Miroku's monk robes, staring at herself. "I'M A WOMAN!!!!" the voice was Miroku's, Inuyasha recognized, it was defiantly much more feminine but it was him. So, thought Inuyasha amused "Looks like Miroku finally got what he deserves." WAIT! He had just spoken out loud! "I said that out loud!?" Sango took a moment from her joyous laughter to look at Inuyasha, before returning to her hysterics, this time pointing her finger at him.
"It looks like Miroku has been turned into a woman, Sango must express all her emotions, you speak everything you think, and I..." Kagome still had her back turned away from them, and pulled herself into a tighter ball. Inuyasha took a step forward, "what could be wrong?" He thought out loud "&$#*! I can't think anymore!" He heard Kagome giggled before she sighed, moving farther away from Inuyasha.
