A Text Back

'EHHHHHHH?' Kyoko yelled in her head as she read the sender of the recent text message she received.

'Kijima-san?' She never thought that he would ever send her a text. In fact the only reason she ever gave him her number was out of politeness considering others, of the female kind, had given him there numbers. Wondering what he could have sent, Kyoko opened the message.

'It's….its amazing! This is super cute!' It was the cutest message she'd ever received! Oh how cute it was, oh how nice it was! All the young people were doing that to their messages these days. It would be cool to reply with- no she should not reply. This was her sempai and sending him a funny message would be inappropriate.

"Eh?" exclaimed Kyoko as she realized in her vehement snap of her phone she accidentally pressed something, her phone just giving off a beep. Quickly Kyoko reopened her phone only to find the beep was indicating that she was going to reply.

'Oh no I'm not going to be so impudent and repl….oh it looks like the blue ink is on….and if I press these buttons it makes stand out….and these make it glow…oh and these make it wiggle…hehe it wiggles…so kuwaiii!' And so there sat Kyoko suddenly warped in her reply to Kijima-san, making faces at her automated device, scaring off others students and teachers in the lunch room.

'Oh this won't do. The letters only stand here and…' Kyoko hit the buttons on her phone with frustration as she tried to make the moving and flashing stop appearing on only kanji. '…ah HA! I have made it go away!' Kyoko rose and gleamed at her triumph only to promptly sit back down in defeat.

'But now only that part stands out. Hmmm…' Kyoko narrowed her eyes at her phone as she tried to concentrate her efforts on remembering what she did before. When that didn't work she tried glaring at her phone willing it to change itself. Then she amped her efforts by adding her grudges, who rounded her phone looking like a bunch of street hoodlums (bats and Yankee accent included), trying to bully it in to changing.

"Look here ya phone! Change ya self back before we do it for ya!"

"Ya before we do it for ya!"

"Ya!"

All three grudges did their best menacing looks before giving up.

"Mama, I don't think our powers work on mechanical objects." said one grudge as it looked down.

"Ya." said the others sadly.

Kyoko stared at her phone in despair. The message she had written was so good and not sending it would be a waste of her efforts. Pulling back her grudges, who made futile attempts to console their mama, Kyoko decided to just ditch the-

'Eh? Sent?' Kyoko looked at her phone with shock. In her attempt to delete the message she mistakenly sent it.

'Stupid phone.' The phone beeped at her, making her jump up. 'Gomenasai' she thought to her phone as she got down in to dogeza before it.

All in the cafeteria stared in shock and fear. "Crazy" and "half-baked" seemed to cover only part of Kyoko's ever changing personality and that was only a text back!
