Happy days always end
This is sort of an extract of Axel's POV in Will there be happy days again?, I just felt like writing it.
At the moment I don't really know where I'm going with my AkuRoku story, so it's on hold for now. I apologise to anyone who ever read the story... and to Nora because I'm such a crappy author...
"Axel!" A young boy with spiky blond hair is running towards his best friend.
"Hey, Roxy!", the redhead smiles and ruffles the other's hair.
"Stop that, Axel!", the blonde pouts.
They both laugh and go get their favourite sea salt ice-cream.
They're sitting at the top of the clock tower eating their ice-cream.
Roxas smiles and says. "I wish we could stay like this forever."
Axel laughs. "Me, too!" He sighs. "You know, I'll miss you when you're gone, Roxas. I wish you didn't have to go."
"I don't want to leave either, but my new family lives somewhere else, so I can't stay here."
Axel sighs and lies down on his back. "I'll miss you, Roxas."
A breeze ruffles up the blonde's hair and blows up his shirt. He shrieks and pushes it down again.
Axel smiles softly and pulls the other boy down next to him. "The wind can't reach you here", he answers Roxas' questioning look.
The blonde laughs and nods. "Only you can reach me here. It's just us, Axel."
"Yeah", the redhead breathes, "just us, Roxy."
He closes is eyes and feels Roxas snuggle up to him his breathing evening out.

Axel slowly opens his eyes and blinks at the sun shining directly in his eyes. He groans and turns over in bed pulling his blanket over his head.
'I dreamt of him again. Shit, Roxas! What are you doing to me?'
He gets up when his alarm clock rings.
While getting ready for school he mentally prepares himself to meet a Roxas who doesn't remember him anymore.
