Amy rested her hands on the TARDIS controls, so far he had taken her to the lost city of Gartu, which is no longer lost, the Harushi ruins and several time museums. They weren't exactly where she would have planned to go, but there seemed to be something wrong with The Doctor. A haunted expression covered his face, yet whenever he felt her gaze he would throw a grin. Amy couldn't pin-point what was wrong, but she did care, she always had cared. She always will care about her raggedy doctor.
'So Doctor' She inquired as she leant against the control hub. 'Where next?'
'21st Century, England... no Wales... nope I am pretty sure its England.' Several alarms went off as the Tardis juddered to a halt.
'Wouldn't want to go to Wales again anyway, might run into Jack..' The Doctor winked, Amy throwing him a puzzled look. She didn't ask about Jack, but she knew he respected him. Maybe he wasn't talking to her unlike usual, maybe he was talking to the TARDIS. The red-haired companion flicked her hair behind her shoulders, and trotted to the doors. One look at the Doctor confirmed it would be safe outside the door, just normal 21st century England, not like when they had arrived on a planet made entirely out of hot coal. She stepped out, happy to feel the cool summer breeze, it was as if she was home. But this wasn't Ledworth, far from it. They had landed beside the Blackpool tower.
'Always good to remember where you park.. I suppose' Spoke the Doctor from the TARDIS doors. 'You never know when you'll be in a hurry to get back to the TARDIS' He shut the door, giving the Tardis a quick pat, before walking past Amy and onto the beach. Amy followed as if she was a faithful dog, loyal to her master.

'Doctor, I left my Jacket in the TARDIS, i'll just go get it..' The Doctor turns but shoots Amy a positive grin, sitting on the wall overlooking the beach.

She made her way over to the blue box and sighed. It felt normal to her, getting into a spaceship. She must look strange to all the people watching, but she was used to the looks, she couldn't care less.

As she stepped in the TARDIS, she noticed a figure. The figure flashed, fading in and out, making a sound similar to white noise on a radio.

'Hello? Should I get the Doctor or something?' Amy asked the figure, which did not turn. It continued to move around the control room before it spoke.
'Doctor?' The blonde asked, in a voice similar to the one you'd have before the dentist. A shaky voice, after trying to cheer yourself up. Trying to stop the tears.
'Are you ok?' Enquired Amy, approaching the figure.
'Is the Doctor there, I need the Doctor. It's me Rose' the figure pleaded, looking straight through Amy.
'It's been 4 years Doctor, where are you. I need you'
The figure slowly faded into thin air. Amy grabbed her jacket, stunned. Was that really Rose? The Rose that the Doctor had told her stories about? The Rose that was trapped, his love. The one he had to let go.

How could it have been? She was gone, trapped he said. So what would be the point in telling him, Amy couldn't do this to him. For all she knows he could breakdown, he said himself.

'No way, we can't go back and get her, no chance'

But maybe this time. Maybe he'd have a chance, maybe he could save her. Maybe he would be happier. Would that mean he would leave her, he had made a promise a long time ago to stay, but that didn't include Rose. He never said that if his friends, family, came back that he would stay forever. That's why Amy didn't tell him, that's why she made a huge mistake.
