Third upload in this category and it's another poem! Yay for poems!

This is Daphne-centric. I wanted to use her sort of more angst-y side (if she has one). I showed this to my best friend, who also read the Sisters Grimm and fan-girls with me. She didn't get it. She thought it was about Puck, Sabrina, Mr. Canis, etc. until I told her. So, hopefully you guys will get it. If not, I'll try to clear it up in a PM or something!

Enjoy!

You feel it at night

Squirming deep inside of you

Inside of your soul

When you're s-u-p-p-o-s-e-d to be asleep

You feel the j.e.a.l.o.u.s.y

And d i s a p p o i n t m e n t

And e:n:v:y

And everything you hide with a s'm'i'l'e

And a giggle

During the day

But...when you're a l o n e

In your bed

The monster of feelings awaken

Rumble and grumble

Wanting to be heard

Shown

Let out

Wanting to show her how it f(e)e(l)s to be

I\g\n\o\r\e\d

Thrown away

Brushed a|s|i|d|e

Looked at like a little girl

Who has no judgment

Or feelings

Or c*a*r*e

Maybe she'll know someday

After the w`a`r

When everyone's s_e_t_t_l_e_d

M^a^y^b^e you'll tell her

Release the m o n s t e r

Inside of you

It was simpler this time because of an amazing CC review from Curlscat. She (I think Curlscat is a she) said to focus less on the typography and to let the poem speak for itself. Thank you, again, Curlscat for your constructive criticism!

Did you get it? Was it not Daphne-ish? I don't know, I wanted to get inside of her mind when she's being brushed away all because she's young. I wanted to see if I could capture that part of her.

Hope you guys enjoyed, thanks for reading and (hopefully, possibly) reviewing!
