The dream from where Rose is in the spirit dream with Adrian while she is in Dimitri's hideout.
POV: Rose
I was in another one of Adrian's spirit dreams. This time we are on the porch where we first met. I turned around and there he was, wearing a shirt that matched his eyes. I was so excited to see him, I ran to him and buried my face into the shirt hoping to smell clove cigarettes or alcohol or something Adrian should smell like.
"Whoa, little Daphmir, I didn't think you would be so excited to see me."
I just stood there a minute longer, enjoying the feel of someone warm. I then stepped back and tried to think of something to say, but the endorphins affected me even in this dream. Adrian was just staring at me looking slightly puzzled.
"What are you wearing? It looks like something I would put you in."
"It's just a dress that I had." I said as hopped onto the rail and swinging my legs.
"Are you okay? Something is wrong with your aura." He said beginning to look agitated
"I feel fine." I said flipping my hair, "Now if you something entertaining to say, say it now."
Adrian looked like he was about to say something, but then he looked at my neck and took a step towards me. I smiled thinking he was admiring my necklace, but he instead he looked deeply troubled.
"Rose, what is on your neck?"
"Nothing.", I answered automatically putting a hand to the side of my neck and pulling back blood.
"Rose, please tell me where you are, you need help." He said keeping his eyes locked on mine to avoid seeing the blood.
I was however looking back and forth from the blood on my fingers and Adrian, and wanted to start crying. This time when I flew at Adrian I was sobbing, great heaving sobs. Now all I wanted was to go back to St. Vladimir's and talk to Lissa and tease Christian. I should've given Adrian a chance.
I didn't know where I was so I couldn't get help. I had calmed down enough to stop my sobs, but I still had a death grip on Adrian. He had to leave soon but I made him promise to come back every night. I have to laugh when I wake up because I am actually looking forward to Adrian visiting.
It was a nice change.
