I should have gave back that locket but I'm glad I didn't. I should introduce myself my name is Hermione, I would tell you my last name but that would give away everything. I guess I should begin with the aciddent that started it all.
I was in my 1st year of Hogwarts. I was walking to Charms when I noticed a locket on the ground. It was odd with a hourglass in the middle and a knob to spin it. I placed it in my bag to look at later and realized it was five minutes into class! I ran to Charms and noticed everybody looking at me. The teacher said,"Since you are late to class you can come up here and show us the spell on the board." I thanked God that it was one I knew. I went up and did it perfectly. Then grabbed a seat and took the locket out. I started turning the knob while I was wearing it. The teacher told me that Dumbledore asked for me so I left for his office. When I reached it he was waiting for me outside. When we got inside I was on the edge of my seat because I was so nervous. He chuckled and said,"It is okay Mrs. Granger you haven't done anything wrong." I move back in my seat then I heard it a crunch of broken glass. Blackness is all I remember.
Then voices say,"Is she okay?"I open my eyes to see Harry sitting by my bed. Then he looks at me, I can tell his eyes are different and I scream. I manage to say,"Who are you?" He responds,"That is what I wanted to ask you." Dumbledore with a slightly shorter beard says,"What is the date? Miss ..." I respond,"Granger, Hermione Granger. And the date is October 3, 1991." Then a girl with red hair and Harry's eyes screams and faints. I ask," What is the date then?" Dumbledore replies,"October 4, 1971." He then introduces me to everybody,"The guy sitting on your bed is James Potter." I scream then fall quiet. He continues,"The girl that fainted is Lily Evans and sitting on the chair is Remus Lupin." Then I look at the last person and he says,"And I am Sirius Black and the one who found you." I blackout at once after.
