Tension
-Izzy's POV-
oOo
'I hate you!'
'How could you do this to me?'
'You started it!'
'How did I?'
The conversation would normally end there. I couldn't tell him why or how he started it. It was, well, because of Lana. Or Gia. Or Bianca. Or any other girl that he's dated.
And, I'm sorta invisible to him. I clicked on the song "Invisible" by Taylor Swift on my iPhone, knowing it was my life. I started to hum along in his garage, surprised that they're not down here. Where would they be anyway? I don't hear knocking upstairs, the Band Van's not gone, and the front door was wide open.
Maybe if I go talk to Beth or something, then he could see that we're meant to be.
Those are good song lyrics. I thought as I trudged outside, into the kitchen, turning off my music. And just in time, too. I heard muttering, so I walked over to the stairs and listened. I heard Tripp talking to his band mates: "And she thinks she can just tell me what to do?—"
That cut it for me. "Tripp, GET DOWN HERE!"
A quick, sharp, grunted reply followed. "I'm COMING!" I heard him slam his door shut and run down the stairs. I greeted him with a scowl, and he followed suit.
"What?" He sneered out.
He looked so mean; I wanted to punch his lights out and then cry. "I was just wondering where you went…" I whispered out.
"Why? So you could accuse me starting some shit that I don't even know what I started? What did I start?"
"You made me start to date Bryce."
"HOW?" He screamed, gripping onto my shoulders.
Because you've been dating all this girls and it's revenge for not choosing me at all… I want to say, but I remain silent. He pleaded with his eyes, and I sighed. "Because…"
"Because why?" He said, gritting it out. His face was in a scowl again, and I pushed his hands off of my shoulders, only to wrap my arms around his neck. His face softened to a confused face and I hesitated for a second. "Seriously, why—"
I pressed my lips onto his and he slowly, but surely, put his hands on my waist.
As quick as it came, it was gone. But not for long. I pushed away awkwardly, but he quickly grabbed me again and kissed me harder, pressing my body up against his. I wrapped my arms around him and he swiped his tongue against my bottom lip.
I gripped harder onto his shoulders and I heard someone clear their throat behind us. I turned around and saw a certain girl standing behind me.
"What are you doing kissing my boyfriend?" She growled out and pushed me aside.
"Tripp, what are you doing dating Lana?"
