Chapter 1
Back in Time

The first thing that crossed Tsuna's mind when he opened his eyes were, 'Since when is my room so small?'
This was quickly followed by another thought, 'Gosh, I am alive.' And it was a miracle in itself. The last thing Tsuna remembered was red. Anger. Blood. And despair.
He clutched his head, refusing to give in.
He paused.
He looked at his hands, which were pudgy and small, smooth and uncalloused without the years of training he had gone through.
"It's —" true. He wanted to say, but once again surprised by the higher pitch of his voice.
Then, he remembered. The Vongola Ring. Primo. And the last thing he recalled Primo said.
"You will be given another chance, to redo what you can."
And something about time travelling.
There was a slight problem though. He wasn't twelve, like what Primo had promised, he was seven.
Oh well, he could always start early.
It didn't take him long to realise three thing. Firstly, he had a brother. A twin brother, younger than him by about 20 minutes. Secondly, said brother, Ietsuna, held a reputation of being a sports prodigy, as he was able to pick up skills easily, and easily got into the school team even though he was only a freshman, a year one of Namimori Elementary.
Was it any wonder Tsuna, or at least this world's Tsuna, had been living in his younger brother's shadow?
And yes, the third point. It seemed that no matter the timeline or universe, Tsuna would forever be Tsuna. Meaning that the 'Tsuna' here was clumsy, useless, and dame. Of course bullies would always pick on Tsuna, but this time round the time-traveller found that his counterpart was usually protected by Ietsuna.
It was a routine for Nana to bring her kids to Namimori Park, and that day was no exceptions. While the twins spend their time in the park, Nana would go shopping.
And Tsuna knew that. His mama would do that too.
Ietsuna bonded quickly with other kids of his age, but Tsuna stood awkwardly, unsure of what to do. His brother quickly solved it for Tsuna by dragging him into his game of tag.
Tsuna once again felt how useless he was in his younger days.
Six trips and two collisions later, Tsuna retired home, soaked in sweat. He managed to convince himself to take a bath first before collapsing on his bed.
"That makes it one more thing to do before Reborn comes," muttered Tsuna into the water of the bath, making bubbles which popped and muffled the words, should any spy be near.
Just in case.
I guess I should be finding my guardians tomorrow, he thought as he rose from the bath.
Let's do this all over again.
Hello:D
This is my first story and I hope you like it! I've seen a lot of those KHR fics and I'm tempted to write one too. Though, take note that Ietsuna (Tsuna's brother) is not abusive nor his family.
And take note that the 'Tsuna' of which the mafia boss Tsuna replace would be referred to as 'Sawada'. I'd try to make the two distinctive.
Oh, and please review:) even a simple 'Update soon!' is worth it!
