Alright guys! This is a very, very, very, VERY short drabble that just popped into my mind after I got home from my grandma's house. Review and tell me if you want this is be a longer, possible story, because I can totally write that! Where Gil might get Mattie at the end! Enjoy!
"But we didn't even bring our swim trunks!" Arthur complained somewhat loudly when his very obnoxious boyfriend suggested they went swimming. Admittedly, the Brit did have a point, but so did the American.
"Dude! Look at where we are! You can't just come to Brazil in the middle of the summer and not go to the beach!" Alfred looked at their host, as if looking to prove his point. Thiago grinned and nodded.
"He's right! I mean, you're in Rio de Janeiro! The beach is just waiting to be explored! And you can borrow some of my stuff, não esquenta a cabeça!" The Brazilian ran back into his room to get swim trunks for everyone, plus a few other things.
"Do you think he has a surf board? I can teach you to surf, birdie!" Gilbert looked excitedly at his best friend/almost-boyfriend. Matthew in turn blushed.
"Gil, you're albino. Do you really think that I'll let you be in that sun? No way. Besides, I don't really think that Thiago has…" The shy Canadian was suddenly interrupted by a rather large red and white surf board being thrust in his hands.
"That's yours Matt. Your country's colors, right?" Thiago then began sifting through a large pile of clothes…or more specifically, Speedos. "Alright, now, does anyone have any color preference?"
The four tourists in the room all looked at one another with the same thought: We have to wear Speedos? "Uh, Thiago, dude, don't you have any like…swim trunks?"
Thiago, not picking up on their slight confusion and obvious embarrassment, laughed before turning to face them, a huge grin plastered on his face. "Guys don't swim in swim trunks here!"
Told you it was short. Thiago is an OC my and my friend came up with for Brasil, mostly because we're both Brasilian (yes, that is how you spell it). I live in Brasil and the first week of January I went to the beach here for the first time in like 8 years and I can safely say, no, guys do not swim with swim trunks here. Not even my 50 year old uncle did...*shudder* No, I didn't go to Rio, but it is AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL.
Rough translation: Não esquenta a cabeça: Don't worry about it/No worries. If you write it in Google translator you'll get: Do not worry your head. But if you translate it word for word you'll get: Don't heat up your head. Basicly saying, don't think about it too much. Wow I talk alot. By the way, BadBye, if you read this, HI! And tell me if I suck or not. Actually, everyone should tell me if I suck or not. BYE!
