Half-Birthday
[Author's note: Decided this was a good idea. All of the chapters are going to be from different perspectives, and the first one is an Elsa chapter. I hope you like it! DISCLAIMER: I own nothing.]
I was sitting in my living room, making a gift for Anna, because it would soon be the day that she would turn a half a year older. I wanted to do special things for her when she turned 14½, because I love her, and I wanted to make it up to her for all that time that I thought that being around her would hurt her.
Now, don't get me wrong: I love my parents, and I miss them very much, and I was very sad when they died. And I get that they didn't know any better than to keep me in my room all those years, and to have me wear those darn gloves, and to make me keep my powers a secret for so many years, and all of that other stuff they did to me that they thought was right. They were trying their best to do the right thing, and they thought that they were doing the right thing the whole time. Which, come to think of it, makes me feel, well...just a bit sorry for them about it. They really missed out on knowing just exactly what great things I could be capable of. But, well...I didn't like the lack of freedom. I didn't like being scared to be around my sister. I didn't like living in fear that I was a harmful person, and that I was somehow bad, and that I was a danger to everyone around me, and stuff like that.
Well, Anna deserved a ½-Birthday like no other! One where she could have fun with me, and eat chocolate, and get presents, and have a great time. One where we could be together, all day, having fun with her elder sister. I also invited some others over, too, and, of course, everyone who lives here were to be participating. Duke Kristoff was going to bake the cake, and he and Sven would be working together to gather decorating supplies. Olaf was in charge of a few of the decorations, while I'd be in charge of some others. Specifically, I'd be making some out of ice and snow and stuff, and I'd be putting up some of the ones that will be too high up for Olaf to reach, and Olaf would be using the supplies that Kristoff and Sven got, and then he'd put up the lower ones. The staff would, of course, be making sure to do some decorating and kitchen duty and stuff, too. And there would be NO chance of that Duke of Weaseltown entering the party! (Or anyone else from Weaseltown, for that matter.)
Some of the many, many guests to the party would be Rapunzel and Eugene Fitzherbert, some friends I made via penpalling (their names, in case you're curious, are Jasmine, Aladdin, and Genie), Belle and Adam, some friends of Rapunzel's and Eugene's (their names are Fang, Ulf, Pascal, Maximus, Vladimir, Tor, Attila, Bruiser, Killer, Hook Hand, Big Nose, Ella, Claire, Chloe, and Leah), this girl named Merida and her three brothers (Harris, Hubert, and Hamish), some friends of Belle's and Adam's (Lumiere, Cogsworth, Mrs. Potts, and Chip), Ariel and Eric, and a local kid named Lilla. (More about Lilla later)
This was going to be a fantastic party! I was so excited to see my sister happy! I was excited to make her happy. I love it when Anna's happy. Her smile is great, and I love her so much. This was going to be a lot of fun. I could tell.
