"This is the best day of your life" Mike said to himself while tying his tie "This is the best day of your life you are marrying the love of your life"

Jack opened the door and then he said

"Great job talking to yourself on your wedding day. Great pep talk"

"You should've given me the pep talk, it's my wedding day. I'm just telling myself over and over that this is the best day of my life"

"Mike this is the best day of your life. It's the best day of Connie's life. You're acting like my nephew on his wedding day. I'm going to be outside"

Mike heard his phone ring, he picked up the phone and answered it. Little did he know it was his old friend Carly who ruined the trial he prosecuted 4 years ago

"Hey Mike"

"Hi Carly this isn't a good time right now?"

"Why?"

"I'm getting married in an hour"

"Oh congrats who is it to?"

"I'm getting married to Connie"

"Why didn't I get an invite?"

"Maybe it's because Connie doesn't like you because of what happened 4 years ago. Maybe it's because she's jealous of you. Maybe it's because I don't have feelings for you after I said we were just friends after we went out for dinner when I told you I was engaged to Connie and me and her were doing things long distance and then you kissed me"

"Did you ever tell her that?"

"Well it's my wedding day and I think she should know by now, oh and she's 3 months pregnant so she would really like to know and this is going to be the best day of my life, have a nice day Carly"

Mike hung up the phone and then called Connie on the phone who was getting ready at a nearby place

"Hey can you come over right now?"

"Isn't it bad luck to see the bride on her wedding day?"

"I need to tell you something about when you were in LA that I've been keeping a secret from you"

"Okay I'm coming over fast"

Connie came to the hotel fast. Mike was sitting down and looked at Connie

"I need to get something off my back that I didn't tell you"

"What is it?"

"So um, when you were in LA I called Carly and asked her if she wanted to get dinner just as a friend thing. I told her that we were going long distance and we were engaged and then she kissed me, I had to push her back and tell her that I loved you even if you were going to be in LA longer than you expected"

"So that's what happened, why did you tell me before our wedding day?"

"I don't want you to leave me and hate me for what happened"

"I'm not going to leave you because I love you and I'm carrying our daughter, I don't hate you for what happened, I don't like Carly, I'm glad you told me about what happened, I don't like her for what happened 4 years ago and what you told me"

"I'm glad you're not going to leave me I want to be with you for the rest of my life"

"I want to be with you the rest of my life too. I need to get back to my room to put my wedding dress on. I love you"

Mike and Connie then kissed. She then walked to the door.

"So we're not going to tell anyone about us seeing each other before the wedding?"

"No, I want to tell you something else"

"What?"

"This is going to be the best day of your life, because you're marrying me and it's our wedding day. I had to give that pep talk to myself and Jack laughed at me for giving a pep talk to myself and then I told him that he should give me the pep talk"

"You're right. This is going to be the best days of our lives. My sister said that this was going to be the best day of your life because I'm marrying the man of my dreams and it's our wedding day. This is the best day of your life"
